Chapter 1
Regulus,
Regulus black was sitting in the third to front row at wembley stadium. The footballers dream as some said although it wasn't much of a dream for him. Pandora, his co star, the love of his life in the most platonic way possible, his unrelated sister (as far as he knows ) and best friend was sitting beside him.
They met at age seven when his parents signed him up for his first acting project and they were Inseparable since. Pandora saved his life in every way possible meaning it was hard to say no, to really anything she wanted to be honest. Not in bratty way but pandora wanted regulus to "get out" whatever that means. Sometimes she was more like a mom!
The whole reason for this outing was for "one simple reason" according to her although obviously she had a crush on the teams coach; Lily Evans. But the main reason was for "Reconnecting". You see, Regulus and Sirius weren't not close or anything but their relationship was always different after Sirius ran away. Regulus doesn't blame him, I mean they did go hardest on Sirius. Sirius was never into the whole acting thing. You'd think his dramatics would make him a great actor but no he was to busy tripping over props to do much. That said, Sirius was a great target to their abuse leading him to run away at 16.
When he had turned 21 three months ago and moved out, not technically cutting ties with his parents though that would take a century. Sirius reached out. They had talked on the phone about everything really, they even talked about their personal life's. Although everything was going good. He was still scared. Scared that Sirius and him would never be the same. Scared to see him for the first time in six years!
Suddenly he heard a whisper in his ear; "everything will be fine regulus. Remember he invited you to this game and, me as a plus one of course." Said pandora, trying to add a little sas at the end but pandora was to nice to do a good sassy voice if that makes sense. Can she seriously read his thoughts?
But before regulus could think anymore of it they heard a loud "BANG!" and the players ran across the field of griffindor team (aka his brothers team). The crowd screamed like the world was ending and regulus couldn't help but smile at Sirius reaction. He looked Happy.
Sirius played middle field but always ran to the front to do his "iconic" handshake with best friend James Potter (who played striker). His best friend that he had met at private school. You could tell they were close, that always together type of bond that you couldn't break just by what Sirius told him and the obvious looks of it. They mouthed something loudly to eachother. Shake and bake. A quote from talladega nights, sirius always loved anything comedy. Sirius ran back to his position as midfield, middle. Next came the slytherins which also had a loud cheer but not as loud as the griffindors obviously.
Regulus knew shit was going to go down during this game. Snape a striker and known shit maker was playing for slytherin. Snape was known to have beef with the duo and they both would go lengths to beat eachother. Regulus could almost feel the tension between them as they locked eyes across the field.
A whistle blew and they were off. The griffindors had gotten to start the ball and were racing through the field. "James Potter has stolen the ball and is racing through the field!" Said pandora in her best commentator voice. Regulus laughed but stayed focused on the game. "focused on the game or focused on James" Said pandora giggling at her own joke. Regulus lightly pushed her shoulder and continued watching.
James rushed through the defense and even tripped one! "AND THERES A GOAL!" said pandora in the same commentator voice. "WOOOO" said regulus matching her energy in the the same voice pandora used. He was happy when he brother was happy.
Another play started. James Potter started with the ball and passed it to frank longbottom another one of Sirius's old upperclassmen. Frank dribbled the ball but it was shortly stolen by Snape. Snape rushed towards the goal in short passes. You could hear other slytherin players yelling for the ball but knowing Snape he wouldn't give up the opportunity. He tripped the left Defender and was approaching Sirius.
Sirius was by far the best Midfielder and ran back as quick as light to get in front of Snape.
Snape slammed his foot into Sirius's knee and called over a near by offense player to keep him guarded. Sirius tried to stand but couldn't. Was it a knee ligament injury? But Sirius didn't care about his knee what was on his mind was Snape. He pushed himself up but fell once again. It felt like he had broke a leg. He could see frank yelling at a ref to stop the game. A offender from the other team came to him and kneeled down. "I didn't know the infamous Sirius Black was a pussy" Now that ticked him off. Sirius grabbed the man by the shirt and threw him onto the ground.
That's when regulus stood up. Something was happening and he knew it.
James Potter was right in front of Snape but in the corner of his eye he saw Sirius. He ran from Snape to Sirius and picked him up and held him by the shoulder. He screamed so loud u could hear him by the top row for a medic. He cursed at Snape and his little pet who was messing with Sirius. They walked to the sidelines.
Regulus had just gained a new level of respect for James Potter.
