New Job position
It was that time of the month where our schedules were.
These were the times the maids would hope to God that they wouldn't get any task that involved the lady’s…I was hoping too..the library was hard enough and the Mistress doesn’t think too highly of me either..
But of course when you hope hard, bad things will come..well for me.
Everyone had mixed opinions, some were happy with their positions while somewhere not..I was scared.
The others looked at me with pity, some even whispering “The Lady’s next slut” , just by looking at my face, they knew what I got.
There on the piece of paper lied the words:
“Mistress Personal Maiden.”
Did she not have one herself?..unless she was killed..but why me?
My knees were wobbly, it felt as if I couldn’t stand.
All those days of avoiding her were over. I’ll be seeing her everyday, and that alone horrified me.
I rested the palm of my hand on my head as sweat dripped down.
“Oh god..”
I mumbled to myself as I sat on the floor..I imagined it would be like our first night(?) meeting…
In the morning I woke up at the exact time the lady
Liked. 4:30 AM.
Early, still sleepy it was hard coordinating myself around the maiden quarters,
Ignoring the harsh comment from others as I walked out the room of sleeping maidens.
Walking to the lady’s room was peaceful..no screams, no sudden sounds of a maiden being torn apart, squish…
With all the thinking I didn't even realize that I was at the lady’s room.
With a sigh to my heart..i pushed open the doors, with all my strength.
There laid the lady…akwake?
The first time it listed was to wake her up..
She knew I’ll be here..
“Lei..nice to meet you!” She said putting down her book.
“Good morning my lady.” I said as I bowed,
A hum could be heard as she got up from her bed walking towards me, lifting my head up with her finger
“Hmm…Lei..”
Lei what??
“You still look strange.” She mumbled scoffing.
“Um..” I mumbled obviously not knowing how to respond to such a comment.
The lady slipped her finger away, standing up all the way turning away.
“Since we are going to see each other..I must think of a name for you…I have 2” she said grabbing her long cigarette from her desk,
“2..?”
Looking at me she inhaled the the smoke,
Then spoke
“Ştiri…or lei..” smoke came out of her mouth as the words came out of her mouth.
“Uh I think Le—“
“Pick wisely.”
“Ştiri.” I said, not wanting obvious death.
“Good now let’s get this day started hm?”
