Harry didn't like Halloween, which was obvious after the horrors of the infamous battle of Hogwarts. Christmas on the other hand was what could best be described as completely insane. Harry loved Christmas, it had been quite a surprise for Draco that first year. Looking back he should have realised, Harry did own an extortionate amount of Christmas jumpers.

The problem was Harry would turned the whole of Malfoy manner into as he put it a Christmas wonderland the second Halloween was over. Every room was themed, every corridor had lights. The many bathrooms were Christmas bathroom themed. Every time Draco made any noise of complaint, he was met with Harry singing "it's the most wonderful time of the year" it would be sung very loudly at him. Often Draco would playfully roll his eyes and say "it's a good thing I love you".

The first year Harry had explained that Christmas with the Dursley's had been a very controlled affair. It wasn't fun, it was fun for Dudley, everyone else walked on eggshells. So now he was going to celebrate Christmas in the way he always wanted to, by going totally over the top.

The two trees that had stood by the front door we're now giant nutcracker statues. Every room had a Christmas tree, every tree was decorated. Every room had a different type of Christmas music depending on the theme. The main bathroom was Christmas mermaid themed, this room was accompanied by a song that Harry had made up, with the chorus 'the Christmas mermaid comes to town with tinsel in her hair, she sings the Christmas song, she tells the Christmas tale, would you like to hear her tale, would you like to hear her tale, yes yes yes!' the song then continued with the story of the Christmas mermaid.

To say he was shocked the first time was an understatement, it was a shock he was now use to. Every year as soon as Halloween was over, for Harry Christmas started, and so did the Christmas films, hundreds of Christmas films, Harry had all of them. Draco had to admit he enjoyed the musicals.

He'd often imagined what there wedding would be like, if he ever got up the nerve to ask. He imagined it being Christmas themed in the height of summer. He'd had the ring for the past 3 years, but always bottled it. He was always going to ask on Christmas day, Harry's favourite day. The reason he always bottled it, was he thought that if Harry said no it would ruin Christmas for him. He didn't want to be the reason why there might be a dark stain on Christmas.

Harry loved all aspects of Christmas, Draco would often wake up to find that he was wearing a Christmas jumper. He'd asked Harry to warn him when the Christmas festivities would be starting, and so he'd wake up pad to the bathroom in his socks and pyjamas look in the mirror, and find that he was wearing a Christmas jumper. Then he'd know that the madness was starting. It was just another thing to love about Harry, and Draco loved everything about Harry.

It was Christmas day and Harry as usual had invited everyone for Christmas lunch. Everyone pulled crackers. Draco looked at the table in shock, Harry picked up the prize that had fallen from the cracker, and spoke "this is my favourite day of the year. The only thing that would make it any better would be, if I got engaged to you on it. Will you marry me?" Draco looked at the ring Harry held, and started laughing, tears streaming down his face as he produces the ring that had been in his pocket "I've been wanting to ask you for the past 3 years, I didn't want to ruin Christmas".

Draco looked at Harry "I always imagined our wedding would be Christmas themed, in the height of summer" Harry grinned "deal, Christmas wedding in summer, I like it".
