Second one / Wolfstar
Sirius always found himself cleaning wounds. Cleaning his scars. Scars that didn’t just come from being a werewolf, scars that came from himself. Him trying to hurt his beautiful skin. He promised Sirius he’d stop. He just couldn’t, Sirius understood. All he could do was clean his wounds. Wrap them up. Repeat.
He held Remus’s wrist softly in his hands as he left soft kisses on his wounds. It scared him. No. It terrified him. He was so scared Remus would go too far, that he’d leave him. Remus promised he wouldn’t, Sirius believed him. Sirius clung to every empty promise Remus made him. He loved him too much to think otherwise. There were never any words exchanged. Remus would cry in Sirius’s arms until he fell asleep, Sirius would clean him up then.
Sirius sighed and left a small tender kiss on Remus’s forehead. He always cried when he wasn’t around. Sirius always cried. It seemed as his cries went unheard. He never saw any hope that Remus would stop. Thus all he could do was watch as the love of his life wasted away. Rotted in his room, in his own sadness and drowned himself in tears until he gasped for air.

There were times where Remus was the happiest boy he’d ever seen. Those times Sirius clung onto like rope hanging from the edge of a cliff.
Remus sang his heart out with James and Marlene. Sirius giggled on the sidelines with Lily and Regulus. Mary was passed out on the couch and Dorcas made sure everyone was fed and wouldn’t be as hungover in the morning while Peter told her to piss off and stop trying to force feed him vitamins.
“That was amazing!” Lily chimed. Sirius nodded and chuckled. Remus laughed and plopped on the couch putting his head on Sirius’s lap.
“We should start a band!” Marlene shouted.
James made Regulus get up and took his spot placing him on his lap. He took a sip of his beer and wrapped his arms around Regulus’s waist.
“Absolutely not.” James burped. Marlene booed and sat on the floor between Sirius’s feet.
“I think it’s a good idea!” Dorcas chuckled and gave Lily a vitamin to which she reluctantly took. After making a face and swallowing the pill Lily nodded her head aggressively.
Peter took another shot before laughing and pouring alcohol into the mouth of a sleeping Mary who jolted awake so quickly she almost head butted him.
“I’m awake!” Mary shouted, making the group burst out laughing. Remus chuckled and threw a cushion at her.
“What do you think about a band?” Remus asked, fixing his head comfortably on Sirius’s lap who smiled and kissed his forehead.
Mary smirked and wiggled her brows.

Sirius let out a bark of laughter.
"Good one, Moony. You're quick on your feet, aren't you?" He got on his tiptoes enough to press a single kiss to Remus' lips, a sly smile tugging at his face as he did.
Remus rolled his eyes and a cute little smile appeared on his face.
“Would you stop running from me? We have rehearsal.” Remus crossed his arms. Sirius looked like he was about to run away again so Remus did the most reasonable thing.
Sirius let out a shocked gasp, but was quickly laughing as he was thrown over Remus' shoulder. As he settled across Remus' broad shoulders he couldn't contain his snorts of laughter.
"Ahh, put me down you twat!" He tried to swat at Remus' back weakly. Remus chuckled and started walking.
“You wish!” Remus spun them around. Sirius let out a yelp of laughter. His legs dangled down on either side of Remus' chest, not quite touching the floor. Even if he wanted them to.
"Put me down, Remus!" He protested, Sirius didn’t actually want to be put down. He loved when Remus was playful.
“Why don’t you want to go to rehearsal?” Remus asked curiously. Sirius sighed and hung helplessly from Remus’ shoulder.
“Reggie broke up with James, he’s going to bother me to talk to him.” Sirius sighed and Remus chuckled.
“Anyways, shouldn't you hurry up?” Sirius raised a brow and smacked Remus’s behind. Remus snorted.
“You know what you’re right.” Sirius let out a panicked shout and a yelp of laughter as Remus took off down the hall. But once he settled, he giggled and clung onto Remus’s t-shirt.
"I might just murder you!” Remus laughed at the boy's protests.
This was a core memory for Sirius, just him and his lover running down the halls giggling and having fun. The question is when did running down the halls giggling became a panic of cries and a half dead Remus in his arms.

After rehearsal, Sirius and Remus found themselves in the courtyard, away from the prying eyes of their bandmates. They sat side by side on the grass, legs outstretched and faces up-turned towards the night sky.
Remus laid his head on Sirius' shoulder, and the boy rested his arms around him. He glanced down at the pale face of the boy below him, their faces lit by the moonlight. Sirius' eyes took in every little detail of Remus' face: his lashes, the way his hair curled about his forehead, the pinkness of his cheeks and the small freckles peppering his skin.
Remus chuckled and looked up at the boy. The way Sirius looked at him made his heart do backflips. It was the way Sirius stared at him like he hung the stars in the night sky or like he was the only thing keeping him grounded on earth. Sirius did feel this way, Sirius was on cloud nine with Remus. They way he loved him and held him. The way Remus brought him back to life and made him feel like he was floating.
“Take a picture, it'll last longer.” Remus offered with a sly smile. Sirius rolled his eyes and laid his head back down in the grass.
“Can’t you let me admire you for once.”
