November 16,
“Who is it?” Sirius whispered at Regulus who was looking through the window at the pizza delivery truck pulling into their driveway.

“It’s yours.” Regulus sighed. Sirius grinned and waited by the door. The doorbell rung and Sirius waited a few moments before whipping the door open.

“Er- well I guess I don’t have to ask if this is for Sirius Black, do I?” He asked, a sheepish smile on his face.

Sirius grinned back. “No I guess not. Well, I see you so often, so er- what’s your name?” He asked, the grin falling a bit.

“Remus.” Remus said, smiling softly at the ground.

“Oh well i’m Sirius.” Sirius said, embarrassingly adorable.

Remus let out a laugh. “Yeah I know I deliver to you every other day.”

“Who’s the other guy that delivers?” Sirius asked for Regulus.

“Oh that’s just James.” He said, looked a bit put out.

“Oh. Alright. So er- hows your day?” Sirius asked awkwardly.

“It’s going ok, thank you for asking. How’s yours?” Remus asked, smiling at Sirius. Sirius noticed that when Remus smiled his freckles danced on his cheeks in a way he’s never seen before. He looked gorgeous against the night sky and Sirius could feel himself giving into the pull that was apparently called Remus.

“Fine.” Better when I see you.

“Alright, well i’ve got to go deliver for more people. Enjoy your pizza!” Remus said, waving and walking back to his car.

Sirius sighed contentedly. “Good one?” Regulus asked. Sirius nodded.

“Which one?” Sirius hissed from where he was looking over Regulus’s shoulder from the window.

“It’s James!” He said, and got ready by the door. Sirius sulked off to his room.

James rang the doorbell and Regulus opened it immediately. “Hi!” He said excitedly before blushing.

James grinned at him. “Hi! I’ve got your pizza, Regulus.”

“You know my name?” He asked before he could stop myself.

“Yeah! You order pizza a ton.” James said, still smiling. Regulus loved the smile.

“Yeah, we do.” Regulus said awkwardly. James handed him the pizza, seemingly unbothered by the lack of enthusiastic reciprocation.

“Have a nice day!” James said, taking the tip money Regulus was handing him.

“You too.” Regulus said quietly before starting to shut his door.

“Wait!” James said, putting his foot in the door. When Regulus looked surprised he mumbled, “Sorry!”

Regulus waved it off saying, “It’s ok. What’s wrong?”

James’s eyes widened. “No! No. Nothing is wrong. I just wanted to know if I could get your number?”

For all the times that Regulus has seen him, James looked nervous. Regulus smiled, almost unable to keep a calm facade. “Of course. It’s 729-xxx-xxxx”

James smiled while typing it into his phone, turning it around for Regulus to check if the number was correct. Regulus nodded.

“I’ll see you later, Regulus.” James said, waving as he walked down the steps of the house.

“Bye James!” Regulus said. He waited until James had driven away before shutting the door.

Sirius appeared at the door beside him after it closed. “What’s got you all giddy?” Sirius said, his voice teasing.

“He asked for my number!” Regulus whispered happily. Sirius smiled at him and clapped his back.

“Good job Reggie.” Sirius said, taking the pizza from him and bringing it to the kitchen. They heard the garage door open from the other side of the house. They glanced at each other nervously and quickly discarded of the pizza box.

They looked down at their shirts and the state of their rooms and panicked. Their parents walked in swiftly, looked at them with pure disgust in their gaze. “What on earth are you wearing?” Their mother said, walking to their rooms.

She checked their rooms every week to check if they were clean. If they weren’t…

“Mother!” Sirius said. Walburga turned around. “You’re home early.”

Walburga rolled her eyes and continued to Regulus’s room, which was first.

“Please, Sirius, it’s only 2 days. You’re being dramatic.” Walburga said. Regulus looked about ready to cry as she opened his door and gasped. “Regulus Arcturus Black.”

Regulus stood still. She grabbed him by the arm and smacked his cheek, turning it a bit pink. Regulus let out a stranger noise.

The next time they were allowed to order pizza it was Sirius’s turn. ‘Allowed’ meant they’re parents were on another trip, leaving them for another 2 weeks. Sirius was looking out the window, with a few bruises being left on his arms and his cheeks.

He had a small black eye, starting to heal. He got up as he saw Remus walking to the door. All his dignity left him and he opened the door before Remus could even knock. “Remus!” Sirius said.

“Hey Sirius.” Remus said, smiling until he saw the bruises. Remus set down the pizza on the snow covered ground and touched his cheek softly. Sirius flinched and Remus pulled away sharply. Remus cleaning his throat, picking up the pizza. “Sorry. Are you ok?”

Sirius nodded a little bit. He took the pizza from Remus’s arm and set it down inside. Remus began to walk away. “Remus?” Sirius asked.

Remus turned. “Yeah?”

“Could I get your number?” Sirius asked, holding his breath. Remus grinned at him.

“I thought you would never ask.”

_______
October 18- next year.

Sirius had his head resting in Remus’s lap, his long finger stroking Sirius’s long black hair. It was early evening, around 4.

“Babe.” Remus said. Sirius hummed in response. “I’m hungry.”

Sirius lifted his head from his lap and rested it on Remus’s shoulder. “What do you want to eat?” Sirius asked.

Remus hummed. “Pizza?”

Sirius groaned before saying, “No!”

Remus laughed at him and gave him a fond kiss. “Just kidding. You’re so gullible.”

Sirius rolled his eyes. “We can ask James and Regulus over for some Indian?” Sirius said. Both Regulus and Sirius moved out as soon as Regulus became of age.

Remus nodded slowly. “Ok, I’ll call James to ask if he can bring some Chicken Korma.” Sirius nodded at him.

Sirius got up from the couch, kissing Remus on the lips softly, before going to the kitchen. “I’ll start on some curry.” Sirius said.

Remus nodded at him. “Alright.”

Sooner than later, James and Regulus arrived with some chicken korma and rice. Regulus hugged Sirius and Remus before taking the dish from James so he could hug them too.

The curry timer chimed a few moments later. Remus went to the kitchen to get the curry and set it on the dining table. They sat down to eat minutes later.

“Hows the new apartment?” Sirius asked Regulus and James.

Regulus rolled his eyes. “Sirius you guys saw us 2 days ago. You were at our new apartment 2 days ago. I think you know how it is.”

Remus chuckled softly beside him. Him and James were talking about some new tv show Sirius and Regulus refused to watch.

The chatter was quiet as the sun started to fade and the moon came up. The food was disappearing slowly as they ate.

Regulus and James ended the night cuddling, watching a Halloween movie in their new apartment.

Sirius and Remus ended the night giving each other kisses for each star in the sky.
