Summary
This is an idea...I want to be the girl who lived. Not in a famed sense, or even a ‘look at me, see how great I am?’ sense. I simply want to live. Run through fields, fly in the sky after a golden snitch, cast spells and brew potions, feel joy and happiness, frustration and shame. I want to be the one to do it all. See it all. Feel it all. Be all of it and none of it in the same breath. But for now, I can be the girl who survived. If I can get ten kudos within the next two weeks, I will post the first chapter! If I can get twenty, I will post two at the same time. If I can get thirty, I will post three.
Note
Please skim the tags. Very cliche, but ignore the bad description? If you don't mind, drop a comment or kudos if you want to see more than a character sketch/outline and want to read the real thing!

Name: Gabriella Potter

Physical Description:

Height: Five foot five
Hair: Vibrant red

Freckles: Slight, like constellations on her cheeks

Background: Gabriella lives with her aunt and uncle, Petunia and Vernon. They have subjected her to a life of neglect and abuse, making her uncertain of kindness and actions.

Personality: Quiet, outspoken, keeps to herself, mischievous.

Intelligence: Gabriella is exceptionally clever and quick-witted. She excels in her studies and has a talent for learning new spells and potion-making and is VERY talented with charms.

Recklessness: Her sharp tongue and rebellious nature often get her into trouble, making her known for her mouth as much as her magical abilities. She's fearless when standing up for what she believes in.

Knack for Trouble: Gabriella has a penchant for creating chaos, especially when it comes to concocting potions and setting off fireworks. Her passion for experimenting with magic sometimes leads to unintended consequences.

Loneliness and Isolation: Very much so, thank you.

The Girl Who Lived: Gabriella's unique status as the "girl who lived" has made it difficult for her to forge meaningful friendships. Her fellow students are curious about her, but many keep their distance due to her tragic past and her notoriety.

Lack of Family: Having lost her parents at a young age and facing mistreatment from her aunt and uncle, Gabriella longs for a sense of belonging and family. This deep loneliness drives her actions and motivations, as she seeks to find her place in the magical world.

Character Arc: Gabbie is thrown into chaos, forcing her to learn how to trust, love, and rely on people that aren't herself.
