Magical Intervention
Summary
There wasn't many times that Mother Magic told Morgan to leave the safety of Camalot to the modern Wizarding World let alone the Muggle World but as she walked down Privet Drive on the cold November morning she knew she was in the right place.

Chapter 3

Mortimer held his sister's hand as they ran into the barrier to enter Platform 9 3/4. Hadriana giggled at the feeling of magic all around them. This was one of her first trips out of Camalot.

Morgan and Merlin followed closely behind them. They had chosen to come and drop them off. They wanted to make sure that the two of them got on the train safe.

The two of them hugged their parents goodbye. Mortimer held onto Hadriana's hand as they looked for a compartment. He was hoping to find the Weasley twins and Lee Jordan.

They were always nice to him. They liked to play pranks together. He was quite fond of them, and their older brother helped him whenever he needed it. Not many people helped Slytherins, which deeply upset his older siblings.

Mortimer sighed when he couldn't find his friends and pulled his sister into an empty compartment. He put their trunks on the rack and sat across from his sister.

"You know that you don't have to sit with me, right?" Hadriana said as she looked at her brother. He was lost in thought before she spoke.

"It's my job to look out for you, and until you find some friends of your own, you've got me," he said with a teasing smile. It faded after a moment before he took a deep breath. "But seriously, we aren't royals out here, and most people don't believe that dad will come back as the once and future king. So we've got to be careful and keep safe."

"Is that why my last name on the letter was Potter and not Le Fay?" She asked curiously.

"Partially. You know about your birth family and as you are the last to the name it means that Potter will be the last name most people use for you and they may refer to you as Holly because that's the name they know," Mortimer tried his best to explain but the whole situation was complicated.

"I'll correct them. Holly Potter died on her Aunt and Uncle's doorstep, and she had become Hadriana Le Fay - Potter," she said with determination. Their conversation was interrupted by the 10 minute whistle and a bunch of red heads rushing onto the train. Mortimer laughed as he watched the twins and Percy all but throw their little brother on the train and jump on themselves.

He stuck his head out of the compartment and whistled to get Fred and George's attention. They waved at their siblings and rushed to his compartment.

"Boys, let me introduce you to my sister, Hadriana Potter," he said proudly. Hadriana waved at them with a smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet you both. I've heard a lot about your pranks. I hope to never be on the receiving end," she said with a laugh.

"A pleasure to meet you as well little sister that Mortimer would not stop talking about," Fred said with a playful bow.

"Yes it's very nice to have a face to a name," George said copying his brother's bow. They smiled at the giggle they recieved. They all got settled into the carriage.

"Why were you almost late?" Mortimer asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Dumbledore asked mom to wait and make sure that all the Muggleborns made it through. Like the teachers explain how to get through it was really weird," Fred said as he leaned slightly on Mortimer. He said, "Ron and Ginny have ramped up their craziness by like 50%. They keep talking about how Dumbledore told them they were going to be best friends with 'Holly Potter'. It's insane."

"Dumbledore is a lier. I want to make my own friends. Mort should we write our parents about this?" She asked with a pout.

"Yeah we should," Mortimer sighed and said, "I'll write them when we get to Hogwarts. Just try and avoid him if you can, okay?"

"Okay bubba," she said. She leaned her head against the window and watched her brother with his friends.

When they got to Hogwarts Mortimer walked her over to the boats. He said, "I'll see you in there. Be careful please."

"I'll be okay Mortimer I love you," she waved and went down to join the other first years. She stopped next to a dark hair girl. She looked over and smiled softly at her.

"Daphne Greengrass, heiress of the ancient and noble house of Greengrass," she said as she held out her hand.

"Oh, um, Hadriana Potter, heiress of the ancient and noble house of Potter and heiress of the ancient and most noble house of Black," Hadriana said as she took her hand. She had practiced introducing herself without adding Princess of Camalot. It was hard to remember still but she hadn't slipped up yet.

The boy next to them turned and smiled at her softly. He held out his hand as well, "Blaise Zabini, heir to the noble house of Zabini. It's a pleasure to meet you heiress Potter."

"Thedore Nott, heir to the noble and ancient house of Nott. It's nice to meet you," the shy boy that Blaise had been talking to said nodding his head to her.

"It's nice to meet you all. Please call me Hadriana or Ana," she said after shaking Blaise's hand.

"Then you must call me Blaise," he said with a playful wink.

"Daphne is fine for me as well," she said with a smile.

"Theo," he said. He jestered for them to get on a boat as the grounds keeper had instructed. They got onto the boats and Hadriana was excited to see her siblings school.
