Harriet felt the doe Patronus before she could see it. If you asked her she wouldn't be able to tell you how that happened, but it did.
With a happy sound, she leapt off the path, running after the for, her boots crunching in the fallen frozen leaves.
"Severus," she whispered when she arrived at the lake. He was there, looking weary and guarded.
"It's ok," she murmured, coming closer to him. "I know what Dumbledore asked of you. And I'm so sorry."
He nearly collapsed in her arms then, hugging her for all his might. "My darling, my love," he kept whispering, stroking her hair.
