Chapter 14

"Welcome to the second task. Last night something was stolen from each of our champions. A treasure of sorts. These four treasures, one for each champion, now lie on the bottom of the black lake. In order to win each champion need only find their treasure and return to the surface. Simple enough. Except for this, they will have one hour to do so and one hour only. After that they'll be on their own." Dumbledore's voice echoed over the loudspeaker.

"Have you seen Kalevi at all?" Draco leaned over to August who seemed to be casting a spell. August looked over at Draco, seemingly annoyed.

"No," he rolled his eyes.

Draco sighed, frustration evident on his face. He had hoped to find Kalevi before the second task began. Draco couldn't shake off his worry for Kalevi's safety as he watched the other champions prepare for the challenge.

"You may begin at the start of the cannon,"

As August dove into the water, he could feel the coldness enveloping him. The murky depths of the black lake seemed endless, and anxiety gnawed at his insides. He had to find his treasure before time ran out.

The underwater world was teeming with strange creatures and plants, their movements graceful yet foreboding. August swam deeper, his heart pounding in his chest. Every passing second felt like an eternity as he searched for any sign of the treasure.

Suddenly, a glimmer caught his eye. It was Kalevi's hair, floating ethereally in the water. August's heart leapt with hope as he followed the trail, swimming faster towards his chance of victory.

Finally, he reached Kalevi, who looked both relieved and terrified. Their eyes met in silent understanding, and August knew they had to make it back to the surface together.
With determination fueling their every movement, they swam upward, their bodies slicing through the water with synchronised grace. The pressure of time weighed heavily on them.

As they broke through the surface, gasping for air.

“The Beauxbatons champion Miss Delacour has unfortunately been forced to retire. She will take no further part in this task,”

Dumbledore spoke over the loudspeaker as Fleur, Kalevi, and August were being dried off and covered in towels

Draco's eyes locked with Kalevi's, a wave of relief washing over him, seeing his friend safe and unharmed.

Soon Karlsson, Granger, one of Weasleys, Potter, and Delacour's sister, emerged from the water.

Kalevi sat in his bed wrapped up in a blanket and a pair of pyjamas as he sipped on some tea and held his rat close to his chest.

Zabini's eyes narrowed as he spotted the marks on Kalevi's chest, revealed slightly from a small gap in the blanket and his pyjama top being unbuttoned one button too far. A mischievous smirk played on his lips, and he couldn't help but tease.

"Looks like someone had a wild night," Blaise remarked, his voice laced with amusement. Kalevi's cheeks flushed crimson as he hastily adjusted his blanket, trying to conceal the evidence. He shot Blaise a glare, hoping to silence him, but it only fueled Blaise's amusement further. "Oh come on, don't be shy," Blaise teased, leaning in closer. "I'm just curious who left those marks." Kalevi rolled his eyes, refusing to give in to Blaise's playful interrogation. But deep down, a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips, memories of the passionate night still fresh in his mind.

"What are you talking about Zabini?" August spoke, glancing over at him

August turned his attention to Blaise, curious about what he was insinuating. Blaise smirked mischievously and leaned back in his chair, enjoying the reaction he was getting from Kalevi. "Oh, nothing," Blaise replied casually. "Just noticed some marks on our dear friend, your brother, Kalevi here." He raised an eyebrow suggestively, causing August's curiosity to grow even more.

Kalevi shot a glare at Blaise before turning to August with a slightly embarrassed expression. "It's nothing," he said quickly, trying to brush off the topic. But August could see the hint of a smile playing on his lips, and it only piqued his interest further.

Unable to resist teasing Kalevi just a little bit more, August grinned knowingly. "Come on now," he said playfully. "Don't keep us in suspense. Who left those marks?"
Blushing even deeper now, Kalevi shook his head and muttered something under his breath that neither August nor Blaise could quite catch.

With a chuckle, August decided not to press any further for now but made a mental note to find out eventually who had left those marks on his little brother's chest - if only for the sake of satisfying his curiosity.

Kalevi sighed, watching the rest of the boys get ready in their beds as he did the same. The candles were blown out as they made their way under the covers
Draco glanced over at Kalevi, a smirk playing on his lips. "Looks like someone had a wild night," he remarked teasingly, his voice laced with amusement. Kalevi's cheeks flushed crimson as he hastily adjusted his blanket, trying to conceal the evidence. He glared at Draco, hoping to silence him, but it didn't work.

"My artwork looks beautiful on you," he said quietly enough for Kalevi to hear him.

Kalevi's heart skipped a beat at Draco's words. The memory of their passionate encounter flooded his mind, causing a shiver to run down his spine. He couldn't help but feel both embarrassed and exhilarated by the marks that adorned his skin, evidence of their intimate connection.
Unable to find the right words to respond, Kalevi met Draco's gaze with a mix of vulnerability and desire. At that moment, there was an unspoken understanding between them - a connection that went beyond mere physicality.

As they lay there in silence, anticipation filled the air. Both knew that this wasn't just a passing fling or a casual encounter. There was something deeper brewing between them, something that held the promise of an intense and passionate journey ahead.

With a soft smile playing on his lips, Kalevi finally found his voice. "Your artwork is more than beautiful," he whispered back, his eyes shining with affection
