It was midnight when Regina black was laying down on the floor while facing the skies in the Astronomy tower. The astronomy tower was his favorite place anywhere in Hogwarts, it was the place where he could think about everything and also a place he could escape the usual crowd around the castle. ‘the sky is so beautiful here, especially at midnight I'm glad I came here to relax its not like I'm running away from pandora and her consistent nagging to talk to Sirius even though his the one ignoring me’ Regina thought justifying herself for coming here in the middle of the night when she isn’t even allowed here after curfew.
She sighs to herself as she stands up thinking she needs to go back to the Slytherin dorms before Dorcas notices she's gone and makes a fuss to Barty and Evan. As she stood up she heard someone running up the stairs of the tower and stopped moving she silently panicked as she thought that if a professor found out she was out of the dorms after curfew and lose some house points for it and get a detention! Oh no they were already ahead on house points for the house cup this year if she lost some her housemates would kill her for it!
As Regina slowly loses her sanity the culprit finally arrives and hurriedly closes the door after coming in. “reg? What are you doing up here so late at night?? Shouldn’t you be at the Slytherin dorms by now?’ the person who came in said.
‘potter?! What are you doing here? And stop asking questions aren’t you the same?’ Regina replies ‘Are you pranking someone again potter? If so where are your merryband followers and my prat of a brother? Aren’t you guys supposed to be together causing mayhem around the castle?’ she says sarcastically.
The person who came in was of course none other than the best friend of her stupid brother who still won't talk to her after the accident that summer, also none other than the Gryffindor house’s star quidditch player, the school's biggest headache because of his and his group; the marauders pranks and also my stupid boyfriend.
‘oh, cmon reg we aren’t that bad, and besides no, we're not pranking someone tonight, and stop calling your brother a prat besides you know he still won't talk to me because of what happened… he just needs some time all right? and shouldn’t you start calling me James by now? What's with this potter business? C'monn call me Jamie like when we were younger’ james says as he pouts and moves away from the door and towards the balcony facing Regina.
‘oh stop being a baby potter and unfortunately for you, I'm not as ineloquent as to call you Jamie while you still call me Reg after all this time, so keep on dreaming potter.’ Regina says teasingly as she fondly rolls her eyes at his childishness ‘As for my brother I've given him enough time to talk and apologise to me for what he did.’ She tells him ‘And yet he still hasn’t come of course I'll call him a prat.’ she whispers under her breath as she turns around the door to James who is already leaning on the railings facing her.
Hearing this James replies ‘Oh reg you know he didn’t mean it that way I'm sure hell apologise as soon as possible I promise I'll even ask Remus to speak to Sirius to talk to you, how about it?’ while he positions his body to offer her a hug.
Regina comes up to him and takes his offer to hug her ‘It's just too much James like I know it is our fault for not telling him about us since he must have felt bad after hearing your sister is dating your best friend from someone else and not from themselves I would’ve felt bad too…’ she paused while she buried her face to her boyfriend's chest ‘but it's been 2 whole months since that happened after the semester started and he still hasn’t even talked to us about it ever since and kept ignoring me…’ she says ‘even though we were already planning to tell him about it since the summer but there were so many things that happened that we didn’t get the time to think or tell him about it.’
as She sighs sadly stopping herself from tearing up. just thinking about how her brother still won't talk to her after some student caught us and told him about our relationship just at the start of the school semester. It hurts how her brother kept ignoring her and stopped talking to James after it's just not fair…
‘how about this I'll take you to a Hogsmeade date tomorrow where we will both distress and eat a lot of chocolate more than our guts can handle at honeydukes and have a drink at the three broomsticks together and if we still have time we’ll go wherever we want for fun. as soon as we finish our very much enjoyable date together then we’ll both look for Sirius after and talk to him properly and you guys will make up together as nothing happened.’ Says James ‘ unless if you have other plans for tomorrow weekend? He adds as he tightens his arms around her while nuzzling his face on top of her curly hair.
Regina nods as she says ‘Of course! I don’t have any plans tomorrow…thank you Jamie’ for whispering the last part. ‘No problem baby black anything for you even if it’s the stars you need to give it to you’ James mumbles to her hair.
‘really baby black? and that statement was almost romantic’ she says while smiling ‘I love you Jamie you’re the best’ ‘I love you too Reggie and I know’ he replies while they both laugh under the stars.
