Circus freak
Summary
Circus of the Angels. A famous magical and non magical circus, since 1812, serving both the magical and non-magical world. Famous in the magical world for having acts that could easily incorporate magic, and famous in the non-magical world for having death-defying stunts and almost impossible feats of danger.Crossposted on Wattpad
Note
I literally scoured YouTube for every video I could find about circuses and squeezed them dry for this.

Chapter 2

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! I PRESENT TO YOU THE GLOBE OF DEATH, FEATURING 14 YEAR OLD LEONARD BOLJAV, OR AS HE PREFERS, LEO BOLJAV, AND HIS YOUNGER BROTHER, 10 YEAR OLD HARRY BOLJAV!" Ringmaster Janson's voice boomed into the crowd as Leo raced into the ring on his motorcycle, Harry perched on the back like a lifesize crow, the image exemplified by the black bird mask resting on the upper half of his face and the feathery, black and purple jacket he was wearing.
The audience roared in approval, and Harry used one arm to gesture to the crowd to cheer even louder, which was met with huge enthusiasm. The volume only increased as Leo raced into the steel cage, and Harry flipped off, landing with a roll before running into the globe and swinging himself into it, letting the door slam shut.

Harry let himself get settled, widening his stance for balance, grinning the entire time. He raised his arms up to the top, as if he were about to pray to a god, and the act started, right on cue.
Leo revved up his engine, and started driving around him.
This was where the trust had to kick in, and kick in it did. Harry trusted his brother to have complete control over his beloved motorbike, and Leonard had to trust Harry to stay still. They had been doing this since Harry was 4. This was fine. Harry breathed in and out, and smiled, striking a pose as his brother started to do figure eights around him, and started to take notice of the audience in front of him.

Right there. In the back row. There were two men, clearly wizards, considering their states of dress. One was terrifically short, and the other one looked like a stereotypical vampire. He wondered what they were doing here, at a show catered for non-magicals. They were, afterall, scheduled to do a show in magical London, in a closed off spot at Diagon, using the same acts they were doing today but with magic, two weeks from now. It didn't make any sense.

His thoughts were cut off by Leo speeding up, and he could hear other people in the audience gasp as Harry raised a hand, grabbing Leo's outstretched one, and started to twirl on the spot, surreptitiously putting a wandless and nonverbal sticking charm on his feet to avoid falling over.
