Chapter 5
Once Bev woke up Evie had gotten out of bed and gotten dressed. She was sitting on her bed in a simple white dress. "It's Saturday, we won't start classes until Monday. If it's alright with you I figured we would hang out with Reg?" Evie's voice still sounded like a dream but Bev nodded.
"I have to get dressed, then we can go hang out with him." Bev rolled out of bed quite literally and searched through her trunk for something to wear. She eventually slipped on a black tshirt and matching black bell bottoms.
Bev grabbed Evie's hand to help her up and out of their room. "I'm sorry for crying on you, just had a long day." She explained, lightly biting her already chapped lips.
Evie held Bev's hand as they walked. "You don't have to apologize, I liked holding you. I could tell you where tired." They reached the common room and found Regulus standing by the exit.
Regulus softly smiled at the girls. "I was wondering when you two would wake up. Now c'mon, I'm sick of listening to Snape ramble about how hot he finds some girl named Lily who's apparently his best friend."
Bev slightly rolled her eyes but used her free hand to grab Regulus'. "Lead the way, seems you know where you want to go." Regulus gently squeezed Bev's hand and lead them too the library. "Just wanted to get away."
The three of them made their way down to the library, sitting down at a table in the back corner. Regulus had a book on potions, Evie one of simple healing charms. Bev on the other hand had grabbed a rather large wizarding law book. "I like finding stupid laws my dad came up with." She explained.
At some point they had made themselves a little nook in the corner with pillows and blankets that the had transfigured. Bev sat curled up with her book between her two friends. She felt safe like this.
Evie had finished her book and just held Bev and read over her shoulder. She laid her head on Bev's shoulder, playing with the ends of her hair.
Regulus softly smiled at his friends and laid his head on Bev's other shoulder. He gently took her book, noticing she was about to fall asleep. He didn't have a problem curling up with Bev and Evie to take a nap until lunch.
Bev was still tired even after sleeping in Evie's arms earlier. She hesitantly moved her head to Regulus' chest with Evie's arms around her waist. She slowly closed her eyes, calming down as Regulus held both her and Evie.
Regulus smiled once both girls fell asleep, he would wake them up for lunch. But he could tell they were both tired. He rolled his eyes when he saw his brother walk past. He hid how much he wanted to please his brother. Instead he just glared and decided to call out to him. "I thought you didn't read willing!" He whispered shouted, keeping quiet so he would wake up Bev and Evie.
Sirius jumped a little when he heard Regulus. "Shut up. Since when did you like affection." He knew Regulus liked affection, he was the one that held Regulus when he had nightmares.
Regulus slightly huffed. "They needed a nap, at least my friends aren't constantly in detention." He didn't truly hate Sirius' friends but he felt like they were taking his brother away from him.
Sirius checked to make sure no one was looking before kneeling down beside Regulus and hugging him. "Take care of them and make sure they take care of you. And let me know if those stitches come undone or get infected."
Regulus laid his head against Sirius' side. "I know, I've been taking care of them. Thank you for doing them." Sirius and Regulus didn't talk about their family when other people were around but Bev and Evie were asleep. Regulus didn't plan on letting them know about the stitches on his thigh from his mother shoving him into a glass cupboard.
