Chapter 8
It was a boring day in the academy and Sasuke was just staring out the window. Half of the class was asleep.
The classroom door opened and Sasuke’s heart started to beat fast when he saw who it was. It was Naruto
He showed up late today and apologized to Iruka-sensei. Naruto took his seat and pulled out some paper and pens to doodle. He usually doodles during class, Sasuke knows because he stares at Naruto during class.
But not in a creepy way! No! He’s just interested what he does ok!

the truth is
He has a crush on Naruto.
You could say he always had a crush on him. Sasuke only understood that he did when they both kissed accidentally.
Naruto was this positive light in his life. He was his sunshine, his sun. But sasuke wouldn’t tell him that. He was too shy to.
Naruto looks up and turns around. They lock eyes for a second, they both quickly look away blushing.
Naruto’s face was on fire. He can’t believe they looked at each other! Sasuke looks so good! He always did! His heart couldn’t handle it as it was racing.
He woke up late that day as he forgot to set his alarm. But at least he made to class at all. Naruto was just excited to see Sasuke today.
Not that he loves him or anything! No! He just thinks that Sasuke is a cool, handsome guy!

He has a crush on him.
Naruto understands when the girls crowd around him. Sasuke was as cool as the moon, lighting up the night sky. He was his moon.
Naruto picks up his pen and starts to doodle. Daydreaming about his crush.
It was lunch break and all of the were outside either eating or playing. Naruto was swinging alone on the swing that he was usually at. He didn’t have lunch with him since he didn’t have a chance to buy his usual ramen month supply.
Naruto was looking around, he could see Shikamaru, choji, and Kiba eating in a group together. They were laughing, well choji and Kiba were. Shikamaru had his usual bored expression in his face. Naruto could also see Sakura, Ino, and Hinata running around playing chase in wolf forms. Ino and Sakura were tugging each other’s tails and ears. Hinata also was but in her usual shy way.
Naruto just sighed as he kept swinging. His ears lowered as he just stared at his feet.
“Naruto”
Naruto flinched and looked up. It was Sasuke! He blushed and tried to get his heart under control.
“Sasuke! What are you up to?” Naruto asked him
Sasuke closed his eyes and looked away.
“why aren’t you eating” he said
Naruto grins
“Ah what? You worried or something teme?”He teased
Sasuke scrunched his face
“No you dobe! I was just wondering”
Naruto sighed
“Well if you must know, I ran out of my ramen supply” he answered
Sasuke just looked at him for a few seconds and then sat down next to the tree the swing was hanging on.
“I have gyūdon we can share” Sasuke says quietly
Naruto looked at him in surprised
“Really?” He asks
Sasuke says nothing but nods.
Naruto gets off the swing but hesitates to sit down.
“This better not be a trick! I’ll kick your butt if it is! Believe it!” He tells him
Sasuke just says
“It’s not a trick dobe! We can share”
Naruto stares a few seconds longer and then finally sits down. He looks at sasuke questioningly.
“Teme, Why are you sharing with me?” He asks
Sasuke just scrunches his face again
“I don’t have to explain dobe! Just eat!” He says.
Sasuke picks up some gyūdon with his chopsticks and brings it to Naruto’s lips. Naruto opens his mouth and lets sasuke feed it to him. It was so good!
They continued like this until the bento box was empty. Sasuke alternating between feeding Naruto and eating himself. Once they were finished, Naruto smiles brightly at Sasuke.
“Thank you teme”
Sasuke lets a small smile show
“You’re welcome dobe”
Sakura, Ino, and Hinata were taking a break from playing to you know, actually eat their lunch. Ino and hinata were busy talking to each other. Sakura was looking around and her eyes landed on Naruto and Sasuke sitting together under the tree. It brings a smile to her face. She knows that Naruto has a crush on Sasuke. Just like how Naruto knows she has a crush on Hinata. Sakura hopes that one day, they both can get together with their crushes. Sakura just continues to eat, hopeful for the future.
