This past week there have been 4 new registered werewolves, bringing the total up to 42 this year alone! With the rise in attacks, we here at The Prophet reached out to the Ministry for a statement. “We are doing what we can to prevent anyone else from being affected. We ask the public to be vigilant and put your safety first. July 2nd and July 31st are full moons, so we expect another uptick in those affected with lycanthropy. We have nothing further to say.” Jean McDonald, Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures representative.

Hermione Granger’s Secret Beau?

Hermione Granger has been referred to as ‘England’s Most Eligible Witch’ for the past four years since her very public split from her long-time boyfriend Ronald Weasley. This weekend, an incredibly vague Patronus message was displayed in The Leaky Cauldron. The unrecognized male voice could be heard speaking about Ms. Granger’s apartment. Not much was known about the message, though speculation is that the messenger is most likely just a fleeting heart on Granger’s long list of spurned lovers.
