KRBK- CH2
Katsuki laid on the couch, curled up in a fetal position, clutching his stomach with a pained expression etched across his face. Every now and then, a soft whine escaped his lips as he searched for even a hint of comfort against the seeming to be unstoppable ache; it felt like the end of the world for the little. His eyes were squeezed shut, tears threatening to spill over as he whimpered softly, the room heavy with his discomfort, making it painfully clear just how much he was suffering. Poor baby. Thankfully for him, his caregiver Kirishima was there, ready to swoop in and make everything better.
Kirishima almost immediately rushed over once hearing the blondes cries; concern showing through his face. "Katsuki..? Baby..? What's wrong?" He'd ask as he looked at the other. He knew the other planned to be little today; which usually being regressed was a positive thing for the blonde; it truly was, but things seemed different with the blondes distraught cries; something had to be seriously wrong to get his happy boy to cry like that.
In response to his Daddy's voice, Katsuki turned his head slightly, desperately trying to keep his eyes shut as tears threatened to spill over. "Not feel good," he mumbled, his words slurring together, revealing just how far gone he was. It was unusual for him to use baby talk like this; it was clear he was feeling really small and vulnerable in this moment.
The blonde's cries weighed heavily on Kirishima; concern was an understatement. "Awh, my poor little man," he said, his voice soft but firm. "Can you tell me what's hurting, 'Suki? Where does it hurt?" He gently brushed Katsuki's hair out of his face, trying to offer some comfort while he figured out how to help his little one feel better.
Bakugo whimpered in response, pointing to his stomach as tears ran down his poor puffy face. Kirishima's heart ached seeing him like this. "Oh, baby, your tummy hurts?" he said softly, kneeling closer. "Let's see how we can make it better, okay? Do you want some water or maybe a warm blanket?" He wanted to do anything he could to help his little one feel more comfortable.
Bakugo stared at the other; wide eyed as he nodded slowly; still clutching his stomach. "Wan' water an.. hugs." He'd state, seeking for comfort.
"Okay, we can do that," Kirishima said in a soft tone; his heart melting at the others baby talk. This was a rare yet such a connected and special moment for the two, Katsuki almost never regressed this little. Kirishima made it into his mission to rub the boys forehead before quickly making his way to the kitchen to get the other some water.
Kirishima debated on rather to use a sippy cup or a bottle but ultimately resorted in a baby bottle; one with the slow drinking lids so Bakugo could get small sips from it. He didn't want his tummy ache getting worse after all. "Alright, here we go!" he'd say cheerfully, filling it with some cold water; making his way back to the couch. He then handed it to Bakugo, watching him take small sips. "Just little sips, okay? We want to take it easy on that tummy of yours. You're doing so good, 'Suki!" He kept rubbing his forehead gently, wanting to keep him comfortable and relaxed. Kirishima knew in the moment that it was best to praise the other; the baby loved Kirishima's kind words.
Bakugo slowly sipped from it, using both hands of course; vulnerably looking at the other, making it obvious he still wanted something. Kirishima made an 'O' face before gently picking the boy up; making sure to be slow and gentle as he didn't want to worsen the others tummy ache.
Kirishima cradled Bakugo carefully. "There we go, nice and easy," he said softly, holding him close. "What else do you need, little buddy? More cuddles? I'm here for you." He rocked him gently, hoping to soothe him further.
He'd give the other a small nod in response; seeming to be more calm now and way less distressed when he first was. He still had a tummy ache, but least he wasn't going through it alone.
"Well luckily for you, my baby boy," Kirishima's tone maintaining softness, "Daddy's here to give you the bestest cuddles ever. He's so sorry that his munchkin isn't feeling good either; so of course that means the poor little sick baby gets extra kisses."
Bakugo was no longer crying; not happy but also not in the state he was before his caregiver; he'd stare at the other, still wide eyed as he nodded once more, only to receive dozens of kisses all over his forehead.
Katsuki was Kirishima's sick icky baby with tummy aches almost constantly; (in this case mainly due to lactose intolerance) but he was truly a loved sick baby and Daddy was here to make everything all better.
