Chapter 1
I walked past the buildings. I need to go to a spot I heard that will help me with any problems. If I can let go of these rotten feelings or better yet, make him notice me. If you didn’t know, I’m in love with my best friend.

I really really want him to be mine. I know it is selfish and delusion but he was the first person to make me who I am today. I know underneath his harsh words, he truly cares about me.

“So this is the spot, I think…” As I whispered I walked inside of a building. It was more like a hole in the wall. Then I saw a person. I started to feel like this was not a good idea. Well, it was too late to back down. I took a deep breath and utter “So I heard that this place will help me with any problems. Is that true?”
“Depends, what’s the problem?”
“I’m in love with my best friend and…” and before I could say anything else, he started talking.
“I have just the thing for. Wait for a second.” He went to the back of the place to get something. Then I noticed how bright this place was. I didn’t think a place in an alleyway with garbage, rats, and other stuff that I didn’t need to see would look so homey. At least more homey than my home. While I was caught up in my thoughts, he came back from the back.
“This is the newest product I made. Depending on how strong you want the potion to be, it can make you feel more fond of someone or will make them fall head over heels in love with you. The only problem with these potions is they’re temporally.” he remarked.
“I don’t want to make my best friend fall in love with me. I want to let go of these feelings” His face seemed shocked by my words. Then It started to look confused.
“Hmm… I don’t know kid. Like I said these potions are temporally. I never think they can make someone love someone else forever.”
I knew it. I looked down on the ground cause what else can I do.
But then he look at me crazy. He looked at me straight in the eye and said “BUT I do have an idea that I always want to try with these potions. I have a theory that if someone drink the potion long enough then maybe, MAYBE, that person will make the chemical that the brain produces that make people feel love because their brain is used to make said chemical. Therefore making you ‘fall in love’ with the person you choose.”
So I do have a chance to change. I ask “So in theory, I’ll be in love with a person that I can choose. Correct?”
“YES, but you have to write every day in a notebook or something. I want to get the most detailed information possible. If you could be my guinea pig, I’ll will give you the potions for free. So do we have a deal.” When he asked for the deal, I felt like this decision would change my world. But is not like I had a chance with Till. And it would be nice to feel something more with somebody else. I want someone to notice me. Know what I like to do, what I like to eat, all my habits and more. I want someone to look at me like I look at till. And the potions I’ll be getting are free so why not try. Is not like I’m losing anything for this project.
“Then we have a deal.”
