Chapter 6
Draco is unreachable.
Harry even had Ron ask him to the pub thinking it might draw him out, but he took one look at Harry and left. He keeps looking at Harry and leaving.
Harry can't keep watching him leave.
His whole world has revolved around Draco Malfoy for longer than he'd care to admit - longer than he will admit to anybody but his therapist. He practically threw himself at Draco when he stayed with him. Merlin, he walked around half-naked, doing anything he could to capture Draco's attention. It was humiliating. And pointless. He'd looked at Harry with nothing more than disinterested passivity. At least they had pub nights where Harry would watch Draco loosen up, and relax enough to play darts or crack jokes with the others. All Harry had now were ten hour days in a stale, overheated office with a partner that would barely look at him.
