"According to the book you need to A. get a basilik venom, B. get godric gryffindor's sword, C. Fiendfyre. those are your choices" Regulus said looking at sirius with worry
"Merlins tits can't I just Avada Kedavra this thing" sirius said while playing with his wand
"You can try-"
"Avada kedavra" a flash of green light came out of his wand and hit the locket and then a scream erupted from it. Both sirius and regulus covered their ears because of how loud the scream was.
"D-did it work?" Regulus asked
"I think so" sirius said while picking up the slytherin locket "I can't feel anything inside it" he said quietly "we did it, we actually did" he continued before laughing like a maniac.
"Are you sure?" regulus asked warily
"yes! Merlin it's that easy?" sirius said with the biggest grin and light in his eyes "Are you alright?" his brother asked him "Of course I am, It is done I'll just need to find the other ones." Sirius replied.
knock knock
"Regulus?" a voice called out from outside
"Are you expecting someone?" Sirius asked him "Salazar- I forgot" regulus walked to the door before opening it and sirius wanted to die.
Regulus opened the door and there stood Remus fucking Lupin. His height oh his height, it was perfect his eyes still the same shade he has more scars now but it looks perfect in his face. He's much more beautiful than sirius imagined he looked beautiful, handsome, perfect everything. He looks at sirius and his heart stopped it was his moony- no not his he lost that title years ago. Now he is simply remus their eyes locked with each other, sirius cannot move he cannot do anything and it seems like Remus is also the same because he doesn't go in he just stares at sirius.
"are you gonna come in?" regulus asked remus and that seems to snap him from whatever he was thinking about
"Ah- yes thank you" he said before stepping in still staring at sirius
Sirius looked away and locked himself in regulus' room trying to stop the tears forming in his eyes
"you- I- you said you don't know where he is" remus said angrily at regulus
"i didn't" regulus stated with a straight face.
"He- but-" remus stuttered while flustered
"He arrived last night now here are your potions" regulus said handing him the potions that regulus brewed
"I want to talk to him please" Remus pleaded
"I don't think he's ready yet remus I'll write to you alright?" regulus said looking at sirius and then remus.
remus went out feeling rejected yet he was ecstatic because he just saw Sirius his star alive and well also handsome very very handome.
