SLUMBERPARTY WITH YOURSELF

Ya know.

If you own a laptop, you’ll most likely also own an incredible accessory of digital world internet navigation which is most commonly referred to by its humble name derived from a common member of the rodent family: a wireless computer mouse.

Now imagine that the cursor keeps freezin’ on the screen because the battery is an old little piece of worn down little cylindrical piece of crap, and having to turn the mouse off and on for a consecutive number of times until you get thoroughly tired of this dumb ass spiel.

That.

Or perhaps you also seem ready to murder something due to frustration boiling over.

Leading yourself to finally man up and replacing that drained, decrepit little power source with a more shiny, rejuvenated battery model; all juiced up and set to propel you, it’s user; forward into the internet highway of : well everything.

But, all in all, like the fate of its’ now defunct predecessor: will eventually meet the end of life for all batteries in a grave.

 The trash can!

Which is how I feel right now.

Wow.

Comparing myself to a battery.

Or a damn buffering YouTube video or movie Netflix screen that never gets better no matter how long ya wait or refresh the page; so ya just say screw this fucking shit and pick something else.

Why is this my life?

Anyway.

To avoid all making this upcoming awkward conversation with the other eventual sides of myself easier to jump into; Clockwork provided us all with a fully furnished and homey atmosphere of a room to get to know each other better.

Complete with bathroom facilities and supplemented by magically provided drinks and snacks.

Ah, icebreaker: thy name is food.

So, here I am currently curled up under a blanket on a replica of my living room’s Lazy-Boy couch recliner with the leg-rest pulled out; me on the left and Ruby on the right. All of us ladies are clad in our pajamas and happily taking advantage of the graciously supplied self-replenishing snacks.

 Yay; slumber party!

Lounging around the common room on various scattered couches, recliners and giant beanbag chairs with blankets and pillows. Introductions and some basic get to know you questions:

  • Favorite color
  • Favorite hobby
  • Favorite food/drink

Ya know, normal; non-chaotic topics.

Which, of course soon devolve from talks about pranks, jokes, and silly memories from our childhoods; all caused by a question while we were eating chocolate pudding:

Can you use fireworks to roast marshmallows?

Oddly enough.

As I figured out the ages of the others were from their last media appearance.

Ranging from 14 (Sofia) to Immortal (Lady Micte). Best not to dwell on it too much and avoid the subsequent migraine; since all of them look physically in their mid-teens to late 20s to early 30s.

Save on the unwanted brain-pain.

Our pudding-fireworks debate splintered off into separate smaller conversations:

Lady Micte and Ursa bonding over their respective marriages to their shitty power-hungry husbands (Mictlan and Ozai) along with their other family members that weren’t absolute pieces of crap.

Ty Lee explaining chi-blocking and Moana about her fighting the Kakamora; which grew into Carina talking about her utilization of astronomy in locating the Trident of Poseidon.

Suki, Kida, Chimi and Mai all discussing their weapons battle prowess and comparing their respective fighting styles.

Musa and Elena talk about music genres.

Bloom and Sofia talk about stories and magic differences.

Flora and Hermione discuss nature magic vs herbology and potions.

Ruby and Tecna compare their scroll and cellphone which ended up with the fairy of technology grilling the huntress about the forging process of Crescent Rose.

Lastly Mirabel and I talk about sewing: seeing that she embroidered her skirt herself she wears in the movie as well as her entire family’s clothes; wow.

Each ladies’ personality was spot on; I’ll tell ya that much.

Makes me kinda curious ‘bout how the merging process is gonna pan out.

Hoo-boy.
