PAST' ACENSION

If there was a liable “Life-Weirdness Scale” available and customized for each unique individual on the planet.

Mine would be a definite 7.5 on the chart.

Erm, actually; make that a 7.5 infinity Level of Weirdness.

Nope, scratch that.

Just infinity Level of Weirdness; period.

 Yeah; infinity sounds good.

Aside from my current feelings of emotional weird-out, I ended up honestly in what appears to be my falling through the air in my pajamas. Landing on the mirror-esque floor, which ripples under by bare feet. In the distance beneath a starry-light ceiling; I can just make out several figures (blurry from the distance) which as I walk closer: seem awfully familiar.

Call it a gut-feeling.

My feet come to a stop, scanning my surroundings, wide-eyed because now I know why this place felt familiar to me: that distant light just so happened to be the Blacksmith’s Workshop from RWBY! Surrounding said Blacksmith are the other figures cast in shadows from the forge-fires.

Great.

My nighttime routine was a blissfully simple affair, ugh, but now it’s like falling down the white rabbit hole: I can only imagine if this is how Alice in Wonderland felt. Although her animated movie debut was implied to be a bookend dream sequence (or whatever). So it’s probably not the best comparison (I pinched myself, NOT A DREAM); even so, Ouch!

Yeah, that realization really doesn’t raise my hopes up.

Arriving at my destination, I can finally place the previously unknown figures to memory, boy what a shock I felt in seeing just who the crowd consisted of.

In all my years of living I certainly didn’t expect to congregate in a single setting: AT ALL!

Obviously, Blacksmith is sitting at her workbench, in the middle of a crowd comprised of; oh boy.

Let’s see here:

  • Tia Dalma/Calypso (Pirates of the Caribbean)
  • Raava (Avatar the last Airbender/Legend of Korra)
  • Great Dragon (Winx Club)
  • Phoenix Force (X-Men)
  • Lady Micte (Maya and the Three)
  • Quita Moz the Sunbird (Elena of Avalor)
  • Narrator/ 1st Story-keeper (Sofia the First)
  • Master Yen Sid (Disney)
  • An unknown woman

Wait, what?

Bewildered, I turn to the aforementioned woman.

“Who are you?” I manage to ask politely; despite my internal squealing freak-out session.

Replying with an enigmatic grin.

“I am Lady Magic, from the creative universe brought to life by J.K. Rowling.”

Cue record scratch.

Swallowing my nerves, I nod waving weakly to the assembled group; who’re staring intently at me as thought anticipating something to happen or the arrival of someone.

But, Who?

I swear you could hear a cricket chirping in the awkward quiet with an equally awkward cough in the background for good measure. Hair stands on the back of my neck, prickling unpleasantly. In my peripheral vision is a minuscule bursting flash of white light; In the aftermath are two large gray clock-hands rotating to create a blue portal.

Guess who stepped, er I mean, floated out.

Clockwork from Danny Phantom.

“Good, everyone’s present and accounted for.”

I, just, stare; Clockwork: Ghost Ancient of Time is right in front of me. That’s how you know it’s bad, like, world-ending apocalypse bad: if Clockwork directly interferes with the timeline!

Whelp, shit has hit the fan; which seems to apparently involve me.

Joy.

“So, not to wreck this multi-fandom party or whatever; why am I here?”

“You are the crucial key element in preventing a Multi-Universal Apocalypse”

Holy Crap.

Blinking, I pivot to lock gazes with Quita Moz; who’d answered me.

Taking this absolute strangeness in stride, though I’m still kinda skeptical ‘bout it so far.

Shrugging, I turn to Clockwork. “So, ‘The Ultimate Enemy’ situation then, pretty much; what’s that gotta do with me?”

One Mind-Blown and Convoluted Emotionally Scarring Backstory Explanation Later……

There’s no time to unpack all of that at once but I think I get the gist.

Let me see if I got this thing straight:

  • I’m from a timeline where Winx Club planets of Domino and Sparx are entirely separate entities (twin-sister planets).
  • Essentially, I’m gonna be a ‘Kingdom Hearts’ hero and I meet everyone here in my new Future/ Past Life (keeping the timeline events on track and what-not).
  • My memories of all of this were locked away and I can’t access them now because the Ancestresses aka Ancestral Witch Coven (Winx Club) killed me leading to me dying and being reborn in the ‘Real World’.
  • I’m also the reincarnation of Lady Micte/ amalgamation of various characters (such as the allusion to James Howlett/ Logan and Raven Darkholme/ Mystique (Wolverine and the X-Men) romantic relationship.
  • According to an old law of Magix; I’m essentially the High Queen of the EverRealm.
  • I’m my own Original Female Character: Lady Phoenix, Fairy of the Phoenix Fire/Force.
  • Creator of MageTech: From my Pranksters’ Legacy story.

Letting that massive info dump sink into my brain Ladies and Gents.

“Meep.”

Sinking to the floor, I lean up against Quita Moz’ coiled body “I’m kinda having’ a hard time wrapping my head around this.”

I’m doing every author’s dream of a time-travel fix-it.

Basically.

Leading to multiple red-flags.

“Okay, exactly how am I gonna do this? Since I obviously don’t possess any of the abilities I’d have otherwise.”

“Conveniences are a wonderful commodity; as are favors.” Clockwork replied.

No, Shit!

You’re the Master of Time damn it; so of course you had favors to cash in (screwing over the robed eyeballs are an added benefits)!

“Well, did you think we were here as background ambiance?”

Scattered chuckling reverberated out.

Knowing how I felt, Clockwork just gave an infuriating smirk my way.

Stupid bloody stopwatch!

If attempting a time-travel fix it, ya gotta have the necessary skills and knowledge so that you are able to maneuver and eventually reach your end goal: It also helps to not die in the first five minutes.  Which is also a nice bonus.

Bringing to mind:

“Care to elaborate on these favors, would they perchance happen to be cheat sheets?”

“Each one of these varied fandom iconic characters will be granting your abilities that will be key factors in healing the timeline.”

“You know what I’m gonna pick don’tcha?”

“Yes, yes I do.”    Phineas and Ferb reference, Yay!

“Does that happen to include characters I can merge with in my reincarnation thing of life?”

A nod in response.

Will this have negative effects on the timeline canon in any way; aside from the fixed-points?”

Clockwork replied “Fixed-points can’t be changed; due to their existence stabilizing the timeline.”

Teleporting in a whirlwind of leaves, Blacksmith knelt beside me.

“However, that doesn’t mean that you can’t influence this universal timeline in other ways.”

Blinking twice before a Cheshire cat grin stretches across my face; as several ideas pop into my authors’ brain.

This is gonna be good!
