Note
Welcome to my new one-shot! I decided to put this into 12 parts/chapters, as it is long with a few time skips, which kind of made me do it. So sorry for the trouble, but I believe it would be better to read it this way. Have fun!

What is wrong and right?

Charlotte’s POV

After breakfast, I said my goodbyes to Lizz, who had potions with the head of her house. The day started fairly good. The twins’ hair? Glorious. Never would I have thought that I would befriend a prankster girl or that I would help her to execute one, but it was fun. What was not so great was the comment from Fred, I believe. She’s not a bad person, but at the same time, I think I might have gone overboard. I need to apologize. But luck was not on my side as a class which I shared with Gryffindor was my 4th period, Transfiguration class which was taught by Minerva McGonagall. Hopefully, we will start this with something easy, and with that thought, I entered the classroom. Almost everyone was there, so I got to my desk to put my things there and made my way toward the colourful-haired twins. I now know it’s George who had his desk next to mine.

They were laughing at something Jordan Lee, another Gryffindor, said. I clear my throat to get their attention. The three of them look at me, but then is Jordan pulled into another conversation with some other classmate. “Hey, I just want to apologise to you. I was being rude to you earlier,” comes out of my mouth shyly. George looks at Fred and they seem to have some kind of conversation in their head. After a few seconds, both look back at me. “It’s fine, Fred could have phrased that differently,” answers George. “Yeah, I didn’t mean to sound mean, I just really don’t get why you talk to her,” adds Fred. “You two act so different that I can’t comprehend what you might even talk about,” continues the green-haired twin. “I might get an idea what they talk about,” interrupts the black-haired boy with a knowing glint in his eyes which I didn’t know what meant, so my answer to that is just a tilt of my head. After that McGonagall transforms from a cat and at that clue, I made my way back to my seat.

My pleas were not answered as she started. "So… today we are starting Vanishing Spells. These are easier than Conjuring Spells, which you would not usually attempt until N.E.W.T. level, but they are still among the most difficult magic you will be tested on in your O.W.L." At that, I heard some grunts from the class. After she demonstrated it on the cup, she taught us the usage, incantation, and hand movement, we were given snails to practise on. I attempted to do it, but all my tries were fruitless. Then I looked up at the right time to see Fred with a wand in his hand making the movement and telling the incantation. Then the snail explodes in a puff of black smoke. Lee and George start laughing their asses off and as they do, the black-haired Weasley says how could Fred messed up so badly and says the name of the spell. After that, his twins' desk vanishes. McGonagall who goes to them to discipline Fred for doing such a horrible job, sees also George’s doings. She stops in her tracks. “Now I don’t know if I should take house points from you or give them,” sighs a little bit tired from the twins’ antics. At this, I can’t help but start laughing alongside almost the entire class.
