Day 17 - Christmas Concert
Harry felt nervous.
As he peeked from the curtains seeing the amass of people gathered, even with the lights shut off he was able to see how many people had shown up for the Christmas concert that Kitty Section had decided to perform. Not only to help boost morale for the people of Paris but also to help spread the Christmas cheer through the city, hopefully around the country as well. His head pulled back in before pacing around rather nervously. Even the sound of Ivan, Juleka and Rose fiddling with their instruments did nothing to ease his nervous.
Marinette helped create their Christmas uniforms for the concert. With Juleka wearing a purple dress and Rose wearing pink yet both had designs of red and green to reflect the holidays where as Ivan had a more light grey like suite that dazzled with snowman like designs. And Luka...
Harry knew immediately how red his cheeks were. Luka stood wearing a dashing blue suit with coat tails and a blue Santa head on his head. Handsome was an understatement really....
"You okay?"
His mind snapped back to reality, Harry composing himself. "Y-Yeah, I-I'm okay Luka. Just... nervous."
"It can be nerve wracking." Luka smiled softly, fingers strumming on the strings of the guitar before sliding over. "But," He adds with a gentle gaze. "You'll do great. And, we're here for you. I'm here for you too, you know." The sound of strumming ceased, and wrapped his hands into his own.
Harry bowed his head, shyly avoiding his boyfriend's gaze as his eyes slide back. "...I know."
"You can do it. I believe in you."
"You are so sappy," Harry murmurs not unkindly a soft, faint smile formed and quick snatched a kiss to Luka's cheek.
Luka smiles and leaned in snatching a quick kiss.
"And now!" The announcer's voice boomed from the stage. "Our group KITTY SECTION!"
"Looks like we're on. C'mon, let's go rock their socks off!"
Harry grabbed his instrument as Luka, Juleka, Rose, Ivan and himself went on to the stage hearing the cheers from the crowd and the supportive waves from Marinette and Kagami from the side both standing with large smiles on their faces. Harry faced the crowd as his fingers began to play losing himself in the music.
And him getting a nice kiss from Luka after the concert had been worth overcoming his stage fright.
