Day 05 - Music
“Do you want to take the keyboard or do you want to use a different instrument?” Harry knelt down, opening the case. His head cocked back looking at Javi.
Javi looked thoughtful before smiling. “I’m fine with either or. I was planning on just playing the keyboard but since you're here to help,” The smile on his face became a full-blown grin. “I can shred on the guitar and you can be on the keyboard.”
“That’s fine with me.” Harry preferred the keyboard. Fingers began to touch the keys causing the music to echo from the instrument, catching the playful gleam that danced within Javi’s eyes as his boyfriend’s fingers began to strum against the strings of the guitar creating a Christmas-y rhythm.
Javi turned with the guitar in hand. The black strip around his chest. “So, any ideas of what to start with first?’
“Maybe something simple? Like Deck the Halls?” Harry mused thoughtfully.
“There’s Merry Christmas too,” Javi interjected with a nod.
“Silent Night.”
Javi’s eyes flashed. “A not so Silent Night, really.” His brows wiggled suggestively with the smile on his face.
“Javi!” Harry hissed blushing.
Javi simply grins before turning towards a small family as the little girl ran up to them and requested a song. “Looks like we have our first song,” He said and began to strum the tune, a hum echoed upon his lips before the song floated in the air. It took less than no time before Harry found himself following along with the rhythm of the song, singing alongside Javi and watched as the little girl and her family lit up with delight and enjoyment. As the family said their goodbyes and places some money into the open case, they exchanged a large smile.
"Don't go looking now." Javi turns and sees the crowd forming around them. "Looks like we have an encore!"
Harry pressed his fingers on the keys, music rippled through the air. "Then let's give them something to enjoy!"
"Alright!" Javi grins. "Let's start jamming some Christmas cheers!"
