Cormac, the mastermind behind this mission, scrutinized Hermione's actions, "I thought you were smart," he shook his head in disbelief, "But your plan to bypass this security system seems overly complicated."

Hermione shot him a confident grin, "Trust me, Cormac. This system required more finesse. We can't brute force it."

She meticulously tinkered with the security panel, the room echoed with the beeps and clicks of her devices. Suddenly, a green light blinked and signaled Hermione's success.

The vault door creaked open, and the team's eyes widened in awe at the riches before them.

Cormac's eyebrows shot up in surprise, but he tried to hide it from the rest of the team, "Well. It's about time."

Harry saw Hermione's fists clench at her side, and he reached out to ensure she didn't attack the blonde man before they could split the loot.

Just as Hermione opened her mouth Cormac's phone rang, loudly, and broke the tension. He looked down at his mobile and cursed under his breath.

"We'll take care of this," Daphne offered and stepped in to take over Cormac's spot as a lookout to allow Cormac to step back and deal with the call.

Meanwhile, Hermione and Harry worked swiftly, extracting the valuables from the vault safety deposit boxes, and securing their loot for transport.

Cormac returned with a ruffled expression, "Sorry about that interruption."

"No worries. We've already got what we came for," Hermione smirked, enjoying that she was on top of the situation while Cormac was now flustered.

As they made their way out of the vault and up through the offices an alarm suddenly blared, red lights flashed overhead, and a loud siren pierced their ears.

Cormac cursed, "How did they find us?"

Hermione shrugged it off and calmly pointed at a tiny device that she had discreetly placed just inside the vault, "Don't worry, I anticipated this. The device is active and will buy us time to escape."

The team navigated the building's intricate layout and managed to evade the security personnel as they made their exit via the roof. They quickly descended the fire escape and once their boots hit the ground, they piled into their van that was parked in the alley.

Cormac looked over at Hermione and winced, "I guess I underestimated you."

Hermione shrugged nonchalantly and said, "And here I thought you were smart enough to know better."

Harry and Daphne hid their grins as they drove off into the night to celebrate another successful heist.
