Chapter 2

The first time McGonagall called Sirius into her office to talk about himself and how he was doing, he had to be very quiet and not enthusiastic about his answers

When Minerva asked him where he got the faint bruises on his jaw, he replied, "Just a squabble with my little brother and he accidentally hit me."

Now, Sirius was actually a really good liar, which minnie my surprise. He could get out of most punishments or detentions from when he played something like a prank, but Minerva always saw the little things.

A single bounce of a leg, a small voice crack for a second, to quick of an answer, or a slight stutter. Sirius did all of these things while answering her questions.

At the very end of their meeting, minne decided that she should just be forward and asked the boy, "Do you feel safe?"

The young black had a very unusual response. He got very defensive and quickly responded, "erm yeah, of course, why wouldn't I be,"

Before minnie could answer, he left, saying, "hogwarts is the safest place on earth, isn't it..." And walked out. But Minerva didn't miss the subtle splash of tears built up in his eyes
