Adagio didn’t pay attention to the rest of the letter as it would be better to respond back as soon as possible to leave the horrid family faster. Instead he grinned sinisterly and got a spare ballpoint pen and some notebook paper.

Dear Albus Dumbledore,

I appreciate the offer, and it would be lovely to attend your school. I’ve noticed some strange occurrences since I was young, so I’m glad that there are more people like me out there. If you could, could you send some kind of tour for me? It is my first time hearing of such a school. Sincerely,

Harry Potter

Adagio read through the letter with a stoic face, occasionally cringing at the formal tones of the letter. Suddenly she started to wonder about her sisters. Surely they were here, maybe in different bodies like herself but they would still keep their necklace around. She folded the letter up and put it back into the envelope Dumbledore sent the letter in as he plans on worrying about his sisters another time. They’ll all meet again at Hogwarts, she just knows it. Now the only thing he had to worry about was sending it. What did the headmaster mean by owl?

Adagio jolted as the door banged again. “Get up boy! We’re going to the zoo!!” The voice of the fat whale could be heard. He just snarled at the person outside of the cupboard and went outside, sneakily stuffing the letter inside the oversized rags.

After the pair stopped doting on his supposed cousin, a white owl was spotted on the mailbox. Adagio glanced in the distracted couple’s direction and quickly pulled out the letter. “Take this to Dumbledore for me,” She whispered. As the owl took off, it snatched the letter from his hand. “Boy!” Adagio snapped back around to see his “uncle’s” face a few inches away from him. “Anything funny, anything at all, and no food for a week.” The man threatened. Adagio just raised her eyebrows and nodded. The man seemed to take that as a sign, so he huffed and waddled his way back to the car with Adagio behind him.

It was an annoying car ride. The giant and obnoxious kid took up the left snd middle seat, leaving Adagio with not much personal space. One swerve or big turn and it’s going to be even more uncomfortable.

The family got out of the car and got their tickets, occasionally grumbling that they had to buy his as well. Dudley was knocking on the window of a giant, and obviously sleeping, snake. It was getting annoying, “He’s asleep idiot,” Adagio told him with a bit of venom in his voice. Dudley narrowed his eyes and left to go bother some other animal. Adagio just stared at the snake in the window.

Almost immediately the snake opened an eye to peek at him, like the snake was just waiting for the Dudley boy to leave. “Thank you, human,” the snake said in a hissy voice. Adagio was startled but regained her composure. “You’re very welcome,” Adagio smiled with fake smile but faltered once she realized the snake talked to him. “Say, can you perhaps free me?” The snake asked, “And how do I do that?” Adagio had never used unicorn like magic with spells and everything, he only used Equestrian magic to hypnotize the people. “Just focus on the glass disappearing,” the snake advised. But before Adagio could get a chance to try, she was shoved out of the way by the Dudley kid. She didn’t lash out though, instead she found an opening.

Adagio focused on the glass Dudley was leaning on. She imagined him falling in the tank and being displayed as the snake escaped. And whatever sirens wanted, they got. The glass did exactly what she wished, it disappeared into thin air. The snake slithered out of the museum, but not before stopping buy to say thank you to him once again. Adagio didn’t care for where the snake was going, what she did find amusing was Dudley being trapped in the enclosure, getting displayed like the animal he is, and the fear and negative energy coming off of the people surrounding the family. Oh if only she had her pendant, then she could collect this delicious energy. Unfortunately, Vernon didn’t like the idea of displaying Dudley inside the snake’s cage, and his look wiped the smirk off her face as it was replaced with an annoyed look.

They were back at Privet Drive. Petunia had a towel and her arms around Dudley as she led her son to the shower. Vernon yanked Adagio by the hair and threw him in the cupboard. The sound of multiple locks clicking closed were heard, and then Vernon’s heavy footsteps walking away, and then silence, and then a crackling sound, and then the sound of a letter, slipping through the bottom of the cupboard.

Adagio quickly retrieved the letter from under the door before the Dursleys noticed. She tore the seal open without care and was only interested in the response sent from the Headmaster.

Dear Mr. Potter,

Thank you for your cooperation. As you have been raised by muggles, it is no surprise that you would need someone to guide you around Diagon Alley to retrieve your school supplies. Which is why we have sent Professor Snape, our Potions Master, to come and retrieve and guide you on your first day. We can’t wait to see what kind of talent and potential you can bring into Hogwarts.

Sincerely,

Albus Dumbledore

The grin on his face widened. Finally, away from this damned family, but she can’t possibly let the Potions Master find out about his condition. Plus he’s been getting tired of the treatment, he has to deal with them somehow. Adagio pulled out the red stone necklace from under his pillow and tied it around his neck. It won’t be as strong as he didn’t have the other two with her, but once he gets out of this wretched cupboard, that’s when the real fun will begin.
