Grindelwald thought about it and said "you might have a point now that I think about it. I do initiate a lot of contact with Newt without thought"

Newt said "I don't mind I actually kind of like it I just have a hard time initiating contact with out anxiety and overthinking it"

Grindelwald said "then I'll just be the one to initiate it until you learn to do it yourself comfortably"

Newt said "I might never learn that but I am at least willing to try to for you"

Grindelwald said "and that is more than okay with me so long as you occasionally try to"

Newt said "you have stuff to do today"

Grindelwald said "yes, I do I'll see you later by the way jack is in the basement cleaning so please do try to avoid it today"

Newt said "no problem I still have to feed the hatchlings every three to four hours so I will probably be in the briefcase today"

Grindelwald said "thanks for telling me." Before walking to his office where he saw Abernathy waiting for him in a chair outside his office 

Grindelwald said "what is wrong?"

Abernathy said "the issue he has with Newt is that the golden apple did not give him immortality and it gave me immortality and I do not know what to do now"

Grindelwald said "that is stupid reasoning because once you soul bond he becomes immortal as well"

Abernathy said "but I'm not sure I'm going to go through with it the apples only reject those that would cause the world more harm than good, I researched them to see if newt was wrong about that and I even called Chaos and she explained exactly how they work I don't know if I can go through with it knowing that"

Grindelwald said "I am going to give you two weeks off so you can think on this I don't want to influence you either way"

Abernathy said "and Jack's mom revealed a few things about jack he hadn't told me before" wringing his hands

Grindelwald said "that is between you two" he didn't really want to get involved in their issues 

Abernathy said "he killed a eight year old kid in anger by torturing them to death! when he was six years old and never showed remorse and didn't see what he did as wrong I'm not sure I even truly know him"

Grindelwald said "if it makes you feel better I never knew that or he wouldn't have joined the alliance I'm against child murders if they can be avoided and if it can't be avoided use the avada Kadavra Quick and painless. I don't approve of torturing children for any reason"

Abernathy said "I don't know what to do"

Grindelwald said "talk to Newt or perhaps stay somewhere a few nights without jack to think on things things like this should not be decided quickly and emotionally"

Abernathy said "that sounds like a good idea thank you boss I know I wasn't supposed to show up for two weeks but I needed to talk" he trusted grindelwald to be his advisor 

Grindelwald said "I understand that if you need to talk again my door is always open to a friend in need"

Abernathy said "I appreciate that and thank you for the trust you are giving me"

Grindelwald said "I should probably go tell Newt about this development so jack can't catch him off guard with it"

Abernathy said "that would be wise and have Newt remove the access that jack has to the briefcase"

Grindelwald said "if you don't mind I will go do that now"

Abernathy said "see you in two weeks or the next time we chat"

Grindelwald said "bye" and went to find Newt in the bedroom in the briefcase grindelwald relaxed and went down to tell Newt

Newt said "are you sure?" He couldn't really believe Jack would do something like that to a child when jack himself was a child it was horrifying to think of 

Grindelwald said "Abernathy is the source and has no reason to lie about it"

Newt said "I'll go key him out of the wards for my office and briefcase"

Grindelwald said "I'm sorry I know this hurts you to do because you don't trust easily"

Newt said "it's ok, not the first time I have had to remove someone from the wards because they were not trust worthy an I found out the hard way at least this time they didn't break in and try to kill my creature's"

Grindelwald said "I'm not so sure that is a positive way to look at it but okay I'm sorry you get betrayed so frequently"

Newt said "it probably has to do with the fact people don't tolerate odd frequently and I am more than a little odd by people's standards"

Grindelwald said "they shouldn't judge people for being odd or different no two people are exactly alike"

Newt said "that is true but people don't think like that and don't tolerate anything they don't understand and unfortunately I often fall into that category for most people. you, Sebastian and the retired aurors are the only ones who see me for me and not as a freak"

Grindelwald said "Andrew and Jones don't see you as that strange either" wanting newt to know he did have people out there who did care about him

Newt said "ok correction you,the lestrange family and the retired aurors I hang with and maybe Sven"

Grindelwald said "I'm sorry it's not more people" pulling newt into his arms to give him a hug 

Newt said "that is ok and also why I prefer creature's to humans for companions"

Grindelwald said "I'm starting to see your reasoning and agree with it unfortunately"

Newt said "don't worry love you can do the people thing for the both of us if you want to"

Grindelwald said "I'm not to certain fist vinda now jack I'm not to sure I like this betrayal thing" he wondered who would be next and it hurt and he didn't like that very much

Newt said "that is part of life and especially leadership. it happens we learn grow and adapt to it no one likes it but eventually almost everyone does it to someone, I know you won't betray me which helps ground me and I hope you know I would never betray you"

Grindelwald said "thank you I needed to hear tha.  I know you wouldn't not even to save a creature it would hurt you to let it die but you wouldn't live with yourself if you betrayed me"

Newt said "you know me very well I would do anything for you or to protect you from harm, I'm sorry that two have betrayed you in one way or another since I arrived"

Grindelwald said "it's a good thing you are here because if this had happened before I met you, I probably would have went on some crazy killing sprees to be honest"

Newt said "I'm not surprised by that. I'm glad you trust me and that I am here for you"

Grindelwald said "so am I love so am I"

Newt said "now it's time for you to get back to your office"

Grindelwald said "I will be careful liebling"

Newt said "I always am we were invited to a lestrange dinner party this weekend"

Grindelwald said "I have the weekend free what day and time"

Newt said "seven on Sunday and a lunch on Saturday is optional"

Grindelwald said "I'll try to fit both in for you I know that they relax you"

Newt said "that sounds odd but it is true"

Grindelwald said "I know you don't wear your mask as much around them you aren't as afraid to be yourself"

Newt said "that's true see you in a bit time to feed the little monsters again"

Grindelwald said "you never did say what kind of hatchlings they were"

Newt said "a occamy and a basilisk hybrid they don't have the eyes but have twice the venom and it is stronger as well"

Newt said "yes, as soon as they hatched I started working on it"

A few hours later they go down and eat dinner together

Grindelwald said "that was the best stew I ever had I think it improves everytime you make it
And the rolls were very good but i still prefer the stew"

Newt laughed and said "I'm not surprised by that I make it the same way every time"

Grindelwald said "hmm"

Newt said "did you leave room for ice cream?"

Grindelwald said "no but we can nibbles on it in a few or eat it for breakfast"

Newt said "ice cream should probably not be a meal"

Grindelwald said "it's not the first time we have ate it as one'

Newt said "that is true let's go lay down so I can give you that back rub"

Grindelwald said "I'm going to crash tonight"

Newt said "yep"

Grindelwald said "but if I wake up early I'm going to have my wicked way with you"

Newt said "don't tease"

Grindelwald said "I'm not teasing I want to know how blissed out you will be if I give you a backrub then have my wicked way with you"

Newt whimpers at the thought 

The next afternoon

Newt woke up again and stretched slowly

Grindelwald said "good to see you awake again love"

Newt moaned and said "that was very nice but I still feel boneless"

Grindelwald smirked and said "if I knew how easy it was to keep you in bed I would have tried it sooner" leering at his liebling 

Newt blushed and said "you are one to talk I recall a incident last week where someone blacked out for a bit after the sixth round"

Grindelwald said "that was pure heaven I seriously don't think I had ever came that hard before"

Newt said "I can agree with that after this morning"

Grindelwald said "let's go get a late lunch this week is mostly paperwork and you have helped me out with that a lot so if we work on the rest of it today I'll have till next Monday off besides for emergencies and the lestrange family dinner"

Newt said "that is no problem almost a whole week off I wonder what mischief you will get into"

Grindelwald said "the only thing I plan to get into is you"

Newt said "that was cheesy"

Grindelwald said "yes but you liked it"

Newt said "that is true darling"

Grindelwald said "and maybe some bonding time with your critters again"

Newt said "they would like that they have missed you since you had to cut back a little"

Grindelwald said "that is sweet I didn't think they would notice"

Newt said "they are very routine oriented and considered you family so that impacts them to a degree"

Grindelwald said "I'll try to make it up to them as well and spend more time with them again if feasible, I do have a few things to plan due to Dumbledore not being a obstacle I'm thinking of running for mugwump if I got it I could start making the changes we want without a hostile takeover or revolutionary war of some kind"

Newt said "that would be good"

Grindelwald said "the election is a few months after our wedding" testing the waters 

Newt said "I don't mind that, we have almost everything planned just need to go over the guest list again pick the cake and the suites and we are done"

Grindelwald said "and the best men"

Newt said "I already asked Sebastian"

Grindelwald said "I figured you would I'm thinking of asking Andrew or Abernathy closer to the wedding"

Newt said "I don't have a problem with you chosing either"

Grindelwald said "thank you" he wanted newt to be comfortable with everything and not stressed out about things that could be easily avoided 

They continue talking as they eat lunch then went to Grindelwalds office to start the paperwork

A few hour later they had finish the paperwork and grindelwald got a floo call for assistance and a mediwitch one of the safe houses had been raided they had kicked the aurors out and got everything and everyone to a secondary safe house

Newt said "I can go with I know how to heal most things and I have my potions bag with me"

Grindelwald said "ok let's go but please do be careful love and stay close" he did want newt to get hurt 

Newt said "I will be because they are probably jumpy"

They floo to the secondary location and newt started healing and grindelwald took a few to heal and question on what exactly happened

Grindelwald found out that someone at the safehouse had snitched to a auror for a lighter jail sentence although they still couldn't connect it back to grindelwald

Newt finished healing a few hour later and said "and most of you need to stay off your feet for a day and take it easy for about a week"

Grindelwald said "consider that a order I don't want you lot getting hurt further if it can be avoided"

They all grumbled a bit before thanking Newt for healing them

Newt flooed home before grindelwald left because he wanted to get away from the noise

Grindelwald came in a hour later to see Newt reading a book Infront of the fireplace curled up In his favorite blanket

Grindelwald said "and what are you reading today?" Seeing it was in Mandarin he could take a guess it has something to do with mushy

Newt said "a book on world domination"

Grindelwald said "so a book on mushy again?"

Newt said "exactly, he is growing again and I dont know how big he will get but he is about to get to heavy to sit across my shoulders"

Grindelwald said "he is a dragon so I'm not surprised by that although we will have one cranky little shoulder dragon when he has to stop"

Newt said "I think this is his last growth spurt, he has adult teeth and scales now"

Grindelwald said "that is good love"

Newt said "yes it is, I'm hoping he will start eating on his own without being hand fed soon"

Grindelwald said "I wouldn't hold my breath on that one liebling"

Newt said "I know but one can hope" newt worried about him

Grindelwald said "true"

Newt said "so what did they say after I left?" Curious as to their opinions of him

Grindelwald said "just some grumbling and a few curious as to who you are to me"

Newt said "and their reactions when told?"

Grindelwald said "all positive and a few complimentary words about how I was lucky to have such a good healer for my betrothed" and a few had threatened to torture him if he hurt Newt but he was not going to admit to that yet

Newt said "that is sweet"

Grindelwald said "that crowd is sweet mostly they set up safe houses and protect and heal those that need it which is why there were so many injuries they aren't necessarily the best fighters but don't back down until everyone is safe or gone"

Newt said "sounds like some interesting people"

Grindelwald said "they will be by the manor Friday to meet you properly their words not mine love"

Newt said "I don't think I'll mind that"

Grindelwald said "good because I don't think I could convince them otherwise"

Newt laughed and said "now I'm looking forward to it if they are that stubborn"

Grindelwald said "they really are and usually a handful when they stir up trouble"

Newt said "that sounds like me and Sebastian"

Grindelwald said "they do remind me of the two of you when you are on a chaos streak speaking of that has she stopped by recently?"

Newt said "no death took her out on a vacation to Iraq where she can cause all the chaos she wants and it will just be labeled isis or another organization like that"

Grindelwald said "that makes sense and death can collect the soul's so it sounds like a good vacation for them"

Newt said "yes and chaos wants to introduce Sebastian to Amber who is deaths little sister"

Grindelwald said "think Amber is his soul mate?"

Newt said "with the smirk she had most definitely, I was thinking of seeing if she would come along Saturday for lunch"

Grindelwald said "that is mischievous I like it"

Newt said "good because this will probably start some sort of chaos and it's better if we are in agreement before we start it"

Grindelwald said "that is unfortunately true but what is life without a little chaos"

Newt said "boring"

Grindelwald said "that is true"

Newt said "I heard Abernathy is going to give jack another chance to come clean and that will decide if they are going to try again or break up"

Grindelwald said "I'm not surprised by that Abernathy has always been logical so if jack answer that truthfully he might get a second chance but if he lies about it Abernathy will toss him like a grenade"

Newt said "that sounds like a Abernathy although I do feel bad for jack even with all that he has done ok maybe not so much when I think of the child he killed but you understand what I mean"

Grindelwald said "yes I do love, it's only natural to feel that way when faced with a situation like this"

Newt said "you always know the right thing to say to make me feel better about something"

Grindelwald said "no I don't but thank you for thinking so highly of me liebling"

Newt said "always even when you annoy me"

Newt said "want any toppings?"

Newt said "how about a cup of hot chocolate?"

Grindelwald said "if you don't mind"

Newt said "if I did I would not have offered it"

They split up and meet at the fire

Grindelwald said "this ice cream is so good what is the secret"

Newt said "sheep's milk, makes better ice cream then pure cream from a cow will"

Grindelwald said "that is interesting how many sheep do we need?"

Newt laughed and said "for what?"

Grindelwald said "ice cream every night"

Newt said "a few probably I don't really know"

Grindelwald said "I'm getting you some so we can do this frequently and you like animals"

Newt laughed and said "even if you don't get the sheep I can just go buy the milk from the store and make it"

Grindelwald said "true but this way you don't run out unless they get sick, the babies eat to much or they stop producing milk but you can always have them in a rotation to have milk"

Newt said "ok, if you get them I won't complain about it they are cute and sweet little things"

Grindelwald said "I would be concerned if you ever complained about me getting any animal"

Newt said "you would have good reason to be concerned because I have yet to find a creature I didn't love, unless you count Hunan's as creatures."

Grindelwald laughed and said "not creatures but sometimes monsters"

Newt said "exactly, although the term monster is subjective to a person's views when it comes to calling a human a monster"

Grindelwald said "that is true many would call me a monster, but I am just a man with a different view than them"

Newt said "exactly and I don't think I could ever see you as a monster"

Grindelwald said "thank you liebling"

Newt said "what do you think the dinner is about? I know Jones likes to host party's but nothing is coming up that I am aware of"

Grindelwald said "nothing I can think of either"

Newt said "well I guess we will find out Saturday at lunch or Sunday at dinner"

Grindelwald said "unless she drag's it out forever like she has been known to do when she thinks I'm being antisocial"

Newt said "that sounds more like a threat to me"

Grindelwald said "well for me sometimes it was a good thing so I would leave my office because sometimes I'd be in there for days at a time, until I met you and decided to balance work and my life versus making work my life like I had been"

Newt said "that is kind of sweet, I should thank her then" he liked how someone had been there to make sure he was taking care of himself

Grindelwald said "get her any bottle of wine she loves the stuff"

Newt said "I have a few bottles from high elves but I can't drink it perhaps she would like it"

Grindelwald said "what is wrong with the wine?" Wondering why newt didn't drink it

Newt said "I'm deadly allergic to the berries that they used to make it"

Grindelwald said "good to know any other allergies?"

Newt said "that and a mild reaction to raspberries they make my throat feel funny and tongue tingle like a rash is starting, although tea tree oil causes a headache if I smell it never actually tried it yet"

Grindelwald said "I would rank that slightly higher than mild"

Newt said "true but it doesn't try to kill me immediately"

Grindelwald said "I'm not sure that's how you are supposed to rank allergic reaction"

Newt said "that is how I rank them  tried to kill me and not killing me yet"

Grindelwald said "fair enough"

Newt said "do you have any allergies?"

Grindelwald said "wolfsbane gives me a rash and gillyweed nock's me out for several hours after ingesting it, don't tell anyone that please not even the lestrange family knows and I consider them family"

Newt said "thank you for the trust, I will never tell anyone"

Grindelwald said "your welcome liebling"

They continue talking for a while

The next morning

Newt said "what is that noise?"

Grindelwald said "I got you a few ducks and a goose they were about to slaughter because they didn't like them anymore they are messy when I got the sheep from the sounds of it they arrived"

Newt said "thank you for rescuing them for me although a little warning would be nice I guess I can put them by the lake and start working on a enclosure for them"

Grindelwald said "sorry I didn't think of that"

Newt said "it okay, feel free to do it anytime just maybe a small warning next time"

Grindelwald said "okay liebling I'll try to remember that in the future"

Newt went and built a house for them to sleep in and set a few spells so nothing could get in the pond that would or could hurt them and then put the sheep in their pasture,Newt had them in the orchard to help fertilize the trees and keep the grass down

Grindelwald smiled when Newt got back in rambling about how cute and awkward ducks are and how much he loves the little goose for trying to protect the ducks from him at first until it warmed up to him
