The final epilogue im not ready for this to end πππ
1991
Platform 9 3/4 was bustling with life, young and old witches and wizards everywhere running amok, trying to get their things together and say goodbye to their loved ones.
"You're going to be great," Regulus Potter smiled, patting his son on the shoulder. "You think so?" Harry asked, starry-eyed. Harry looked like James β curly black hair, brown skin, and big eyes, an exact replica of his father, just a bit less cocky and arrogant. "You're the brightest kid I know; I bet you will do awesome things," James agreed. Harry grinned and hugged his dads.
"Harry!" A girl with hair so blond it was almost white called, running over to him. "Hey Luna!" he grinned. "Hi Auntie Pandora."
Pandora had married Xenophilius Lovegood, and naturally, since Reg was close with Pandora, their children had to be friends.
"Hey boys, you excited?" Lily asked, strolling over. "James is a wreck," Reg shrugged. "But other than that, we are good. How about you two?"
Lily and Mary had adopted two kids β Stella, a freckled girl with short brown hair, and Sam, a boy with dark hair who was only ten and would be attending Hogwarts next year.
James watched as the train started to load. "Harry, you see those red-haired kids? Those are the Weasleys. You've met them before. Why don't you and Luna go sit with them?" James suggested. Harry smiled. "Bye dads, love you," he said, hugging them before running off, Luna right behind him. "Don't get into too much trouble!" Reg called. "Who am I kidding?" He mumbled. "Just have fun and don't be as bad as your father!" He corrected himself.
James leaned against Regulus. "You think he will be okay?" he asked. Reg gave James a reassuring smile. "Of course he will, Harry is much smarter than us," he laughed.
"Are we late?" Sirius yelled, running onto the platform. "Just missed him," Reg said apologetically. "Too bad, I had a present for him," Sirius sighed. "Sirius, is it dung bombs or something?" Reg said wearily. "How did you know?" Sirius gasped dramatically. "James, did you at least give him the cloak?" Remus asked. James nodded. "Of course, how else do I expect him to sneak around?" James shrugged. Regulus frowned. "Who let you become a parent?" He asked.
James shrugged again. "I have no idea, but I could not do it without you." Reg rolled his eyes. "You're ridiculous," he sighed. "But you married me." James reminded Reg, smugly holding up his hand to show off the dazzling silver ring with an emerald in the center and the gold wedding band.
Reg looked down at his hand with the corresponding gold band and gold ring with a ruby in the middle. "Yes, I did," Reg said smugly. "Okay, you two, don't start making out on the train platform," Sirius reminded them. "Oh, like you and Moony used to," Reg snapped back. "Wow, okay, but that's different," Remus added. "How so?" James asked. "Yeah, I'm curious?" Reg agreed. "For starters, it was not my BROTHER he was making out with," James shrugged. "Yeah, fair," he said but glanced over at Reg.
"Hey, the train is leaving!" Lily exclaimed. A window rolled down, and Harry waved at Remus and Sirius. "Uncle Moony, Uncle Pads!" He exclaimed. "Bye Harry!" Sirius cheered. Harry rolled his eyes. "Wow, Harry did inherit some of your guys' sass," Sirius smirked. "Finally," Remus added with a swift kiss to his husband's cheek.
"You all want to have brunch at our place?" James offered. "Ooo yes, please!" Lily cheered. "Yes, proud parents and cool uncles brunch," Sirius proclaimed. "Guess you can't come then," Regulus shrugged. "How dare thee accuse me of not being a cool uncle. I am so cool," Sirius scoffed, fixing his leather jacket. "You're very cool, love," Remus reassured him. "Well, we will meet you there," James sighed.
"30 minutes; we have something to do," Sirius said suddenly. Reg just rolled his eyes. "Yeah, Jamie, we have something to do too," he said jokingly. "I know you're joking, but..." James said slyly. "Okay, and with that, I will stop this conversation and say thank you on Remus's and Sirius's behalf. We will see you in a half-hour," Lily said, butting in.
"Fine, fine, 30 minutes," Sirius agreed. James and Regulus walked off. Of course, their friends were still idiots; of course, Harry would be fine. Everything had worked out just as James promised.
