“So tell me about her.” Reg said calmly when Narrsissa and red set down on regs green satin bed . Narissa smiled nervously. “Promise you wont tell anyone.” She asked for what must have been the fifth time. “Sissa I promise Your parents would freak out more than mine would so come on I can tell you want to talk about her.”
She took a deep breath. “Her name is Alice we met in third year but got together in fifth she loves quidich,bugs, and sapphos poetry she aspires to be a famous quidich player or a auro. Shes the most confident and funny person I ever met…” she paused looking up her face turning pink. “and I think im in love with her.”
“Wow Sissa I never thought…well I mean good for you, you deserve to be happy.” Regulus said sheepishly smiling. “Yeah well who’s the griffendor girl who your sneaking off with?” She asked snakily as she flipped her silky blond hair back, whoever this girl is she must be rubbing off on reg.
Reg smiled. “Potter,James you know Sirius’s best mate.” He mumbled. Narsissa gasped. “Potter!” She exclaimed. Regulus quickly covered her mouth. “Don’t say it out loud! We aren’t telling anyone.” He winced.
Narsissa composted herself. “Right right sorry. Tell me about him.” She insisted. “James Potter.” She said in a deep semi mocking voice.
Reg rolled his eyes. “Yes James potter, well he’s brilliant I mean absolutely amazing he’s kind and patient and like the sun.”
“Like the sun!?” Nirsissa laughed. “Yes the sun he’s bright and warm and fills the room with happiness and joy hes makes me feel so comfortable when im with him I cant stop talking its like Magic! He’s just. tellement tellement parfait!” He exclaimed flopping down on his bed. “Oo wow the french came out you must really like him, when did you guys get together you know become boyfriends?” She asked.
Reg bit his lip. “Well we first got together over break when I went to the potters to try and bring sirius back but never got that far….and well he’s not my boyfriend yet we only kissed a few times.” He shrugged. “Kissed!!! And he’s not your boyfriend wow reg.” Narsissa tutted.
“I dont know how that stuff works what do I do walk up to him and say, ‘James potter will you be my boyfriend.’ Pull out flowers or something.” He asked annoyed. Narsissa giggled. “ well thats what alice did, it was late at night by a tree, our tree she had out my favorite flowers dark pink tree peonys and there were two candles that smelled of lavender. She nervously asked me as if I was going to say no. She also said she had no idea how those things work but I thought it was perfect none the less.” She explained as if in ha dream.
“Ngk well thats not really my sort of thing. I just want a low key way to ask him to be my boyfriend.” He groaned.
At that 2 heads peaked through the door. Evan rosier a bown skinned boy with short blond curly hair, and red eyes as if he were high, the other Barty crouch jr a pale boy with dark brown hair,almost black with a green streak, he had a hooked nose and looked like the scootish actor David tenant.
“Who is reggie trying to ask out?” Barty asked ruffling Regs hair. “Who’s the lucky bloak?” Evan asked teasingly. Regulus looked nervous. “Reg you dont have to be nervous to tell us we’re not homophobic.” Barty chuckled. “Your not!?” Reg asked shocked after all there families were not known for being the most progressive. “Are we homophobic! Are we homiphobic!” Barty laughed offended. “Do we look homiphoic to you?” Barty asked as Evan set on his lap.
Regs jaw dropped. “Wait are you two-“ he asked confused and shocked evan rolled his eyes. “Barty.” Evan leaned in and kissed barty.
“Oh.” Regulus said flatly. “Yeah Oh im shocked you never knew before good lord Reggie your blind!” Barty laughed. “Anyway who was this boy your talking about?” Evan asked. “None of your guys business now get out.” Narsissa insisted pushed them up. “Woah woah no need to be fisty sissa.” Crouch laughed. “Go back to Evans room or something.” She rolled her eyes. “Fine fine but we will figure it out eventually Reggie mark my word!” Barty exclaimed as Narsissa slammed the door.
“God they’re idiots.” Reg groaned. “Yes they are now get back to telling me about potter.” Narsissa sighed.
A half hour later regulus and and Narsissa were laughing about there first kiss stories but suddenly Regulus started crying. “Whats wrong I thought my story was funny.” Narsissa asked with a worried smile on her face.
“I just what will we tell our parents.” He asked tears building in his eyes. “Oh…Well I don’t know I was planning on lying, moving in with Alice after Hogwarts we would lie and say we both wanted a room mate and are not ready to settle down of course my parents wont like that but they will get over it, I love my parents but could never tell them about me and alice I just hope they don’t try and arrange a marriage haha.” Narsissa smiled sadly. “That would never work with me and James.” He said sadly. “I guess we wont be able to last.” The tears started falling.
Narsissa sighed. “I don’t know reg you either will or wont don’t stress about it.” He wiped the tears off his face. “Thanks sissa but you should probably go its really late.” He said.
She nodded, ruffled his hair and left back to her dorm. Regulus laid back down and saw something on his bed, the little pink sticky note with magic writing.
‘Hii Just testing to see if this things works I know its late but I had a great night your amazing and I cant wait to see you again.’ James wrote.
Regulus grinned in spite of himself. He quickly reached out for his wooden side table looking for a quill. ‘Yeah it does work I don’t know when you wrote this but I just saw it now sorry, also Narsissa might have found out sorry but she wont say anything shes sneaking around with someone too haha. See you soon. R.A.B.’ He wrote.
Reg laid back down on his bed of course things would be alright James made things alright thats was the magic of James potter after all.
