Chapter 1

We managed to evade Harry's so-called "protection" only to find ourselves blindly following Malfoy into Knockturn Alley. It's no surprise considering it's Draco Malfoy we're dealing with. He's always up to no good. But that doesn't mean we should follow him without any reason or evidence.

We find ourselves on a rooftop, overlooking Borgin and Burkes. We witness Malfoy and his mother entering the shop before disappearing from our view. As we try to find a better vantage point, we almost get caught. Quickly, we retreat to Fred and George's prank shop, where girls are excitedly discussing love potions and Ginny is holding a pygmy puff. Harry, on the other hand, was busy acquiring Peruvian instant darkness powder., and although I have no idea why he thinks it's useful, I decided not to question it.

After gathering everything we need for the upcoming semester, we head back to the Burrow. Molly goes to the kitchen to prepare dinner, while the boys and I go upstairs to talk. However, I can already predict that the conversation will revolve around Malfoy once again. Harry can't seem to talk about anything else. It becomes tiresome hearing about it repeatedly.

When Molly calls us down for dinner, we join her at the table and eat. We joined her at the table and enjoyed the meal. After finishing my meal, I excuse myself to get ready for bed. I brush and floss my teeth before heading to mine and Ginny's room to retrieve my pajamas. I then return to the bathroom to change. Just as I'm about to put on my pajamas, I hear Ron calling my name from his room. Curious, I make my way towards him and ask,

"Yes, Ron?" I responded as I stepped into Ron's room, curious about what he wanted to discuss. He looked up at me with a serious expression on his face, his brows furrowed in concern. "Hermione, I can't shake off this feeling that something is not right with Malfoy," he said, his voice filled with worry. "I mean, I know we've always suspected him of being up to no good, but this time it feels different. It feels like he's involved in something much bigger, something dangerous." I sighed, understanding Ron's concerns. We had been keeping a close eye on Malfoy ever since Harry's suspicions about him grew stronger.
But despite our efforts, we hadn't been able to gather any concrete evidence against him. "I know, Ron," I replied, my voice filled with empathy. "But we have to be careful. We can't jump to conclusions without any solid proof. We need to gather more information before we confront him or take any action." Ron nodded, his expression still troubled. "I just can't shake off this feeling, Hermione. It's like there's something dark brewing, and Malfoy is at the center of it all." I placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, trying to reassure him.

"I understand, Ron. And I promise you, we'll do everything we can to uncover the truth. But for now, let's focus on staying vigilant and gathering more evidence. We can't afford to make any hasty decisions." Ron sighed, his shoulders slumping slightly. "You're right, Hermione. We need to be patient and thorough. I just hope we can figure out what Malfoy is up to before it's too late." I walk out of the room and lie down in the bed in Ginny's room. Salazar knows I will need all the rest I can get before tomorrow

Hours passed, and the room grew darker as night enveloped the world outside. In the stillness, I found solace and strength. Finally, as the first rays of dawn peeked through the curtains, I stirred from my slumber. I know the others will wake soon so we can leave to go to the train. I packed up my trunk Each item was carefully folded and placed, a testament to the meticulousness that had become second nature to me. I maneuvered the trunk down the narrow staircase, careful not to make too much noise and disturb the others who were still sleeping. I grab a bit of coffee and join Molly at the table. She sat there, her eyes fixed on the window, lost in her thoughts. I took a seat beside her, the familiar creak of the chair breaking the silence. We exchanged a knowing glance, understanding the unspoken bond that had formed between us during our time together.

I know she fears for Ron and Ginny to go back to Hogwarts. Though as long as Dumbledore is alive we are safe there. Molly tells Arthur to go wake up Harry and Ron so we can have breakfast and then leave so we aren't late. The boys shuffle down quickly with Ginny following behind. Molly serves up breakfast and tells Arthur to get the boy's trunks and owls downstairs.

We eat and through our trunks into the car and head to Kings Cross. We find a parking spot amidst the sea of cars, and as we step out, the cool breeze brushes against our faces. We grab a few trolleys so we can manage our trunks better. We make our way to platform 9 ¾. We run through the post making our way onto the train.

As we step onto the train, the familiar sights and sounds of the Hogwarts Express greet us. The steam billows from the engine, creating an enchanting atmosphere that transports us into the magical world I have come to love. the train begins to rumble, signaling its imminent departure. We eagerly peer out the window, watching as the platform slowly fades from view. We wave to Molly and Arthur goodbye as we set out for Hogwarts.

“I’ll be back i need to check on something,” Harry tells us as he leaves our train compartment. I have no idea as to what he's up to but I want no part of it. I glance out of the window, watching the landscape blur past we are no more than 30 minutes away from Hogsmeade station.

As the train approaches Hogsmeade station, the scenery takes on a more whimsical quality. The quaint village, nestled at the foot of the towering Hogwarts castle, exudes an aura of magic and mystery. The cobblestone streets wind their way through rows of charming cottages, their windows adorned with flickering candlelight.

As the train finally comes to a stop, I gather my belongings, ready to disembark and immerse myself in the enchanting world of Hogwarts once again. Harry's absence is momentarily forgotten. “Where is Harry?” I asked Ron quietly. “ I dunno Probably already on his way up. So Ron and I head up to the castle unknowingly leaving harry behind.

As I approach the grand entrance of Hogwarts, the massive oak doors swing open, revealing the familiar sight of the Great Hall. The warm glow of the floating candles illuminates the room, casting dancing shadows on the long tables.

And as I settle into my seat I notice Harry is still gone. I wonder where that boy can be. Before I can say anything to Ron. Harry With a bloody nose walks in beside Luna. “He's covered in blood, why is he always covered in blood.” I hear Ginny tell me from my side and she's right. He gets hurt more than anyone else I know. He sat down next to me and I asked him what happened. “Not now I'll tell you later.” I just nod my head in response.
