Chapter 51

Chapter 51:

Hermione learned of Malfoy’s departure a week after it happened. She couldn’t understand how this upset her, but she also felt her whole body relax at the news, like she had been taut for all these months and finally her body relaxed.

She took this ease to truly finish her articles for publishing in earnest. Her pet projects have garnered a lot of international attention, and her latest work she knew would change everything wizards knew about the effects of dark magics, the fairy water was critical to this potion, she knew it was limited, but the effects of it would have widespread implications, implications she knew weren’t all good, that’s why he had a meeting with the minster of magic next month to discuss her research and whether or not she should stop.

Staying busy kept her preoccupied and forgot all about Malfoy’s existence.
