Chapter 41
Chapter 41:
Draco’s plan had gone according to plan, actually, it worked too well. Granger agreed to wait for the additional correspondence but the unintended consequence of this genius was that they no longer had any regular contact, which meant that the ennui of life at Hogwarts was back. Outside of a check-in here and there on a response, Draco had no other contact with Granger.
He even found that the room of requirement was freer more often. It didn’t escape his notice when students began to murmur that Professor Granger has been seen more often in Hogsmeade, Draco only passingly wondered what she did.
Draco filled his days with lesson plans, flying at breakneck speeds and sending increasingly long letters to Theo, who bless him, was the only one free enough to write back.
