Summary
Hermione can’t stand Draco, all Draco wants to do is make it up her.Years after the war, Hermione likes to pretend that everything is fine accepting a teaching post at Hogwarts. Draco is finally back in England and is starting to find a life again when he jokingly applied to a DADA position at Hogwarts he never thought he’d get the job, but now he’s at Hogwarts where Hermione is also teaching and he’s learning how to finish making amends for all the wrongs he’s done in the past.It turns out, freedom is a cage and the past can never really leave you.

Chapter 39

Chapter 39:

Draco wished he had an Invisibility cloak, there wasn’t much he envied Potter, but that particular artifact was indeed a source of jealousy. He needs to be bundled together the remaining three gifts under a notice me not charm and began making his way Grangers office at the ungodly hour of 3:30am. The castle was dead quiet and he prayed to the entire bloodline of Salazar that the annoyance known as Fred Weasle wouldn’t make an appearance.

 

Luck was on Draco’s side but the operation went smoothly. The gifts were deposited and the letter was carefully laid out. He didn’t waste time congratulating himself before apparating straight back into his Rooms.
