Hermione can’t stand Draco, all Draco wants to do is make it up her.Years after the war, Hermione likes to pretend that everything is fine accepting a teaching post at Hogwarts. Draco is finally back in England and is starting to find a life again when he jokingly applied to a DADA position at Hogwarts he never thought he’d get the job, but now he’s at Hogwarts where Hermione is also teaching and he’s learning how to finish making amends for all the wrongs he’s done in the past.It turns out, freedom is a cage and the past can never really leave you.

Chapter 24:
Outside his window that night Draco saw a familiar shape zooming through the skies. Over and over again he saw Hermione flying furiously fast in wide arcs, as if she was laying her claim to the skies. He was indignant enough to summon his broom, but he had enough of a chewing out for a day and decided to spend his time reading up on his next offering instead. She can have the skies for tonight.
Draco went to bed that night drifting in and our consciousness with the most bizarre dreams, of light brown curls wrapped around his hands and chilling winds whipping at his hair.
For the first night in many Draco’s dreams were just that, dreams and not nightmares.
