Chapter 11

Chapter 11:

It was the oddest thing. One day Hermione walked into her ingredients closet and marked the strange package on her desk in the attached office. Since she never used this office to work in the library instead it was odd anyone who think to reach her here. The packaged wasn’t addressed at all outside of a H.G. written across the top. Call it all habits but Hermione cast a few revealing spells to spot any danger or worse yet a prank, but nothing came up, so she cautiously proceed to open the package, inside the package she can hardly believe her eyes it was a set of Middlemist Red flowers in class jar. One of the rarest flower to exist, it hadn’t been spotted in England in ages, this must have not only cost a fortune but been impossible to track down. The potions made using this flower were so rare she only ever saw on her in studies. Who could have gotten her this? It was wrapped as gift, surely not the head mistress. Hermione was so taken by the flower and the possibilities that she quickly forgot about the mysterious origins.

But not for long, after Hermione wrote missives to her old professors to inform of them of this fine, she quickly began to investigate who left this in her office. She asked students, she ask her neighboring teacher, she even asked a few ghost and not one of them had seen anyone enter her office, this was the only time she wished she kept a portrait her in her office, but she hadn’t touched a thing, she kept it as a shrine for Snape, maybe one day she’ll change it, but she couldn’t just now.

This little mystery kept preoccupied into the next day and the next but alas nothing turned up, no one knew how the mysterious flowers showed up on her desk.
