A few years had passed now, Harry was now seven years old, still living with Aunt Andi and Ted and his unofficial Sister Dora, his Godfather Sirius Black was still in the ministry holding cell.
Or it once was a ministry holding cell, over the years Andi and Professor Dumbledore got him some things into his cell for comfort, it had now an older plush armchair, a desk with chair, quills and ink pots, a better bed, a small line that was a wardrobe.
As to why he was still there was the bureaucratic nightmare of the ministry, his trail should have been years ago but things getting in the way delayed it and delayed it and so on.
He just wished he got out soon ha had already lost 6 years there and there seemed to be no end in sight and he wanted to really raise Harry, be part of his live.
He got ripped from his thoughts as the guard outside of his cell spoke
"Black you got a visit" said the guard opening the door before making room for Andromeda and Harry to walk in
"Hi cub, hi Andy how are you today?" asked Sirius cheerfully, his mood always improved when they came, he hugged them both
"Very good, Uncle Sirius" said Harry excitedly
"Is that so?" he asked
"Yes, aunt Andy said there are very very good news, huge news actually" he said energeticly
"Ohhh do tell my dear cousin"
"There has been a breakthrough, you'll get tomorrow you're trial, Amelia pushed it all the way through finally" said Andromeda
"Really?" he asked in disbelief
"Yes really"
"YES, FINALLY!" yelled Sirius while picking up Harry and spinning him around in joy
"Sirius enough for him at the moment" said Andromeda "I brought some robes for you tommorow"
"You are the best cousin" said
"I know I am. Tomorrow try to show yourself from the best side, it will be easier that way"
"I'll do my best Andy, I want to be finally be part of his life full-time"
"Sirius in sorry but we have to go now, there has to be some time without seeing us before the trial"
"Absolutely no problem, I'll be free soon and be with you all"
"Yes, you will, see you tomorrow and do as I said" she said walking out after hugging Sirius
"Will do, Andy" said Sirius finishing to hug Harry
"Bye Uncle Sirius" said Harry
"Bye bye Little Harry and by my dearest cousin" he said as both visitors left the cell
The next morning Sirius stood a few steps away from the door of his cell wearing the suit he has been given yesterday. Waiting patiently for the aurors to arrive.
Moments later 4 aurors arrived, one for them open the gate and held a pair of handcuffs.
"Come here Black" he said and Sirius walked forward and put his hands there and the auror began to put them on
"Are those really necessary? I've been here for 6 years and never made trouble" said Sirius
"True but, orders from higher up to relax the public"
"Alright let the way Jack"
The four aurors surrounded him and brought him to the court chamber, which until his arrival was, when it exploded in whispers and flashes of light.
He was placed in a chair in the middle he looked up and saw Fudge sitting in the middle looking at him. He began to talk as the whispers died down in the court room.
"Today we have gathered here to shed light as to what happened the 31st of October 1981, Sirius Orion Black, is accused of the following crimes, revealing the location of the potters to You-know-who and murdering 13 people, 12 muggles and a fellow wizard which was one of his best friend, Peter Petigrew, how do you plead?" asked Fudge
"Not guilty" said Sirius
"Alright, to prove this we are going to give you veritaserum, do you accept"
"Yes, I accept"
"Blackwood, please admister the thruth potion"
Blackwood walked over to Sirius who open is mouth and let 3 drops of the potion into his mouth
"It has been admistered, minister" said Jack Blackwood
"Thanks, now to let this see if it works, please state your name and birthday"
"My name is Sirius Orion Black and my birthday is November 3rd"
"What's the name of your close blood family"
"My father's name was Orion, my mothers was Walburga and my little brothers was Regulus Arcturus Black"
"Alright, let's begin this, were you a death eater, you know who's second in command?"
"No I am not"
The stand began to whisper
"Who was the secret keepers of the Potters, did you tell you know who?"
"Peter Petigrew was the secret keeper of James, Lily and Harry, he told Voldemort their location" a gasp and a series of flinches went through the stands, not only for the visitors "he was a spy for him, I convinced James to change it to him, because no one would suspect small little Petigrew that bastard"
"How did the confrontation between you and Petigrew happen?"
"I went to his house to check on him, like I always did, when I arrived it was completely empty, suspecting something bad I went directly to James and Lily, but I was to late, both had died I took Harry and went to my cousins house and gave him to her care, I went to hunt him down, once I knew where he was I appareted directly in front of him, he backed away, before he began to shout that I betrayed them and killed them, he then sent some kind of blasting curse into a crowd of muggles before cutting off his own finger and transforming into his rat animagus and slipped through the sewers, you know what happened after"
"Peter Petigrew is not a registered animagus, how do you know that he is one?"
"Because James, Peter and I became one to help our friend, Remus Lupin with his transformation"
"Why did you not register?"
"Because of the war, it could come in handy for us if we find ourselves trapped"
"Alright, I believe the evidence under veritaserum is enough, all in favor of dropping all the charges" said Fudge, most of the arms went up in the air "Alright it's pretty conclusive, just for the record everyone who is against it" only a few arms went up in he air
"Alright, all charges dropped, now you only need to register you animagus, you gain custody for Harry James Potter and say us a description of Peter Petigrew in his rat for" said Fudge before standing up
Instantly the hall broke out in talks and white flashes, Harry, Andromeda, Ted, Dumbledore and Remus went towards Sirius who was just realesed and hugged him
"Now let's get out of here" said Sirius
