A mocha and a pretty barista
Marlene was tired after a long day of classes and decided to stop and get some coffee at the local café. She walked up to the counter and heard and unfamiliar voice say.
“Welcome what can I get you today!”
It was a really pretty girl with a dark skin tone, black chunky braids, glossy lips and a dark green long sleeve top.Marlene had never seen the girl so she must be new. New and pretty
She looked so pretty that Marlene really couldn’t have continued the conversation smoothly, but after stammering over her words once she finally was able to speak to the girl in a normal enough manner.
“ hey can I get a mocha with double chocolate, caramel drizzle, cookie chunks, vanilla extract, shaken with three ice cubes please. “
the pretty barista looked at her with a confused expression on her face and put in her order. Marlene was so used to the confused faces of baristas after they hear her order so she wasn’t even surprised.
“What’s the name for the order?”
The barista asked.
“Oh it’s Marlene”
Her order was finished in only a few minutes which Marlene spent staring at the girl and admiring her beautiful features.
When Marlene got her order she tried it and really quickly knew what was wrong with it.
“Hey I’m sorry to bother you but you forgot my caramel “
“Oh sorry what could I do to fix that”
The pretty barista asked in an uncertain tone and Marlene decided to shoot her shot if it doesn’t work out I’m just going to stop hong here .
“Well your name and number could do the trick. “
The barista blushed and said.
“ my names is Dorcas “
She grabbed Marlene’s coffee, and pulled out a black sharpie and scribbled something on Marlene’s cup.
“That’s my number call me tonight I get off at 6 pm”
Then she just blew her a kiss and walked away like she didn’t just give Marlene her phone number and flirt with her.
Marlene definitely couldn’t contain her excitement because she just pulled one hell of a girl.
