Note
I've had an idea of this pairing for years and I didn't feel like I could do them justice. I didn't do them justice. But fuck that. I don't write anymore, so this is me trying to go back into it.

He moves a loose strand of hair out of her face, runs his fingers through it, and it makes her smile, it always does.

He likes her smile. It's soft, sweet, kind. It makes him feel something in his gut and he doesn't like that feeling, but he likes watching her smile.

She is writing something down in her notebook, he can't decipher what, but it's probably another recipe.

She looks up, looks at him and they share a smile, and she goes back to her writing.

He continues playing with her hair, and he knows she likes it, knows how much it turns her on when he lets his fingers travel down to her neck, down to her waist and then he's tickling her, and she's laughing, telling him to stop and she doesn't mean it and so he keeps on doing it, and she leaves her pen and the notebook and falls against his body, laughing and he's laughing too.

He pulls her in a soft kiss and she kisses him back and then she's straddling him and deepening the kiss, and he's holding her pressed tightly against him and the way she rolls her hips against his makes him moan.

"Needy, aren't you?"

It just makes her smile and she presses a kiss on his cheek and whispers a little tease in his ear that makes him laugh a genuine laugh, the kind of laugh only she can get out of him and he pulls her closer.

He has work tonight and he has to lie to her again. It's his second nature, but it keeps getting harder and harder.

She isn't getting suspicious, but she will soon. He isn't telling her about who he really is, he knows she's going to leave him, she's too good for him.
