Chapter 6
McGonagall's office
Pov James Potter.
"Now I Want you two to explain to me what happened because as much as I love the others I need your opinions." McGonagall said as she looked between the boys. "You first Mr.Rosier." she added.
"Barty was telling the truth Miss.He told you what happened exactly has it happened at least what I know and I was with him the entire time." Evan said as he wiped his blond hair out of his face, his blue eyes twinkling. McGonagall closed her eyes and nodded before looking to James and speaking.
"Mr.Potter your turn, from what I understand you were there longer than Mr. Rosier?" She said as she pointed at him.
"Uhm- yes miss! Do you want me to start from the beginning or from the beginning of the fight?" He asked as he looked at her and adjusted his glasses.
"Well if you could please start at the beginning. I need to know what caused this." She said as she sat with her eyes closed.
"Okay then. Well me, Sirius and Peter we're in the dorm while the others went to the library to study. We thought we should object we thought we ought to join them! So we went to library when we got there everything was fine until Sirius had noticed his brother." He paused to push his hair out of his face. "When Sirius noticed Regulus he got like really mad and started yelling at him. I don't know what it was but Regulus immediately left after he that then something started when Pandora tried to defend Regulus. Sirius got pissed, then after a while Pandora left and we all tried to tell Sirius that he shouldn't have yelled. He got kind of mad but brushed it off. Then the other two came over and I think they were just trying to find out what happened because Regulus is their friend." He said as he looked over a Evan who looked at him and nodded.
"Well boys thank you for informing me about the situation. You two are excused." McGonagall said as she opened the door with the flick of her wand.
Corridor
POV Evan Rosier.
As the two walked to the Hospital Wing James quietly spoke.
"Hey- um I think it's really awesome what you did for Regulus." He said as he looked at Evan.
"Regulus has been my best friend since we were 7. I know when he's hurt even though he acts like he's fine when he's hurt." Evan says as he closed his eyes and looked ahead of him.
"Yea… um his brother is actually the same way… I think it's just some weird family thing…" James says as he looked ahead.
"Honestly I think that's it." Evan said as he laughed for a few seconds.
Slytherin Commons Room
POV Regulus Black
As Regulus sat in the floor of his dorm that he shared with Evan and Barty he thought about his past. He started thinking about the first time his mother used the Cruciatus Curse on him.

At least then he had his brother and he understood.

But, now?
Regulus is an only child.
And it was eating him from the inside out.
No one seemed to understand.
And no one would.
