Chapter 2
-Boys Dorms-
As Remus slept he was suddenly woke up by voices early in the morning. As Remus sat up and yawned he realized the voices were just James and Sirius. The two were still sitting in the exact same place on the floor.
"have you two been up all night?" Remus mumbled tiredly. This caused the two to look at him. The two has bags under there eyes. As if on reflect Sirius ran over and gave Remus a kiss on the check.
"C'mon Moony! We know better then to be up all night we slept for like two hours!" Sirius said happily as he pulled Remus to sit next to him and James. James looked back down at there work before looking back up and smiling.
"Fine! Show me what you idiots have."Remus says as he pushed down into a sitting position on the floor whilst he holded hands with his boyfriend. Sirius then laid his head on Remus shoulder as he began talking.
"Well we have got about 9 bottles of ink because Prongs kept getting excited and knocking the bottles over." He said as he looked Remus in the eyes.
"I said I was sorry!" James shouted. As he turned.to ward the two that were beside him. Sirius then laughed as he turned his head and snuggled into Remus. Remus wrapped an arm around his boyfriends side.
"You two are so immature."Remus says as he rolls his eyes. "Anyway have you two been down to the common room this morning?" He asked looking down at Sirius then over to James.
"No but Lily should be up and Peter has already gone down to breakfast." James said. Sirius then yawned as he tiredly rubbed his eyes before stretching.
"Alright well I'm going to change then, I'll go down to the common room before going to get breakfast. Oh and also I'm going to come back up here after breakfast and bring some food and you two better have gotten some sleep." Remus says as he lightly pushed Sirius off of him as he stood up and stretched. The two boys waved at him then went back to working on there bucket and there ink.
-Ten minutes later-
Remus went down to the common room as he saw Lily talking to a few first years. He walked up and stood next to them. As the first years ran away giggling, Lily laughed before looking up to see Remus.
"Hey Lily, have you went down to breakfast yet?" Remus asked her as he reached a hand out. Lily grabbed his hand and lifted herself up.
"No I wanted to go with you." Lily said as she stood up and brushed off her shirt. "It's nice that we don't have classes today since it's the weekend."
"Yea it is, by the way Lily I like your outfit." Remus said looking at Lily who had on a red cropped hoodie, and a black skirt. Lily then smiled.
"Thank you Remus!"she said as she giggled. "Hey Remus do you think you can study with me after breakfast?" She asked as her and Remus walked out the portrait.
"Yea, but I told the boys I'd bring them back some food but after i get back I can come back down and go to the library with you i need a new book to read anyway." Remus said.
"Alright" Lily the said.
-2 hours later in the library-
POVLILY
Lily sat in the library waiting for Remus 30 minutes after leaving the Great Hall. They split ways in the Great Hall so Remus could go up and give Sirius and James their food. Whilst Lily waited for him the library. As Lily waited she began to get bored. She decided she would pick up a book and read it. She took 10 minutes to look at the bookshelf in front of her to find a book that was interesting to her. As Lily found the perfect book and went to grab it. Someone else grabbed it at the same time. Lily turned to face who it was as she took her hand away.
"I'm sorry! You can take it." Lily said. As she turned to face the younger boy. As her hand went down to her side.
"No, it's fine you can keep it." Regulus said as he grabbed the book and handed it to her.
"Are you sure? I don't wanna take it if you want it!" Lily said as she grabbed the book out of his hand. Regulus nodded. "If your sure." She added. As they both turned to walk away Lily had random thought.
"Regulus- sorry I mean Black how are you doing?" Lily asked, then she turned around. Regulus stopped in his path.
"What?" He asked as he turned to look at Lily. He took a small step toward her.
"Well, it's just- I know how things are at your house an- " Lily said as she looked down at her hands that held the book. When she looked back up Regulus looked like he was trying to think of something to say.
"Uhm- I'm fine" Regulus said as he grabbed one of his hands with the other to stop them from shaking. "But, thank you Evans." He said as he turned toward an empty table.
"Uh Actually!" Lily said looking at Regulus, as he turned back to look to her. "Do you want to sit with me? It's fine if you don't want too but neither of us really have people to hangout with. So maybe we could sit together until others joined us." She added.
"Uhm- sure. I don't see why not." Regulus said as he stepped closer to Lily. Lily smiled as she waited for Regulus to get in line with her.
-20 minutes later-
POV Remus
As Remus walked into the library and quickly glanced at all the tables he spotted Lily. She was at the table he had expected her to be at. One thing that Remus was not expecting was for Lily to be sitting directly beside Regulus Black. She was not expecting this because Regulus Black was known as the Slytherin Prince meaning he came from a rich pure-blood family and it was told that he was rude and unkind. As he started walking toward their table he noticed that Lily and Regulus looked like they were having a good discussion. This to Remus seemed odd, for a pure-blood that was said to think pure-bloods were better than others hanging out with a muggle-born.
"Hey Lilly." Remus say sitting down in front of her. She and Regulus stop their conversation and both look up at him.
"Remus! finally your here! I've been waiting forever." Lily said as she put her hands in the air. "I'm sure you've already met Black have you not?" Lily said mentioning towards Regulus who had gone quiet.
"Not in person." Remus said as he then reached his hand out so they could shake hands.
