Chapter 6
Throughout the rest of the year Snape couldn’t focus on anything. His mind was set on helping Dazai out of his situation. Hell, he didn’t even know if he was really in the mafia or not, but he cared. Way too much. If Dazai was in the mafia, he’d get him out. If Dazai committed crimes, he’d file a petition for expungement.
Thankfully, the last day came and many people were leaving the school to get transportation on the train and such. There were kids crying and waving at their friends, watching them leave, not able to see them for another year.
Severus hasn’t seen Dazai for weeks. It isn’t even a year and he’s already been a mess. He’d always thought that kids were being dramatic, but were they really? Yes, they were. Because their friends weren’t going home to an abusive family, but even if Dazai had gone back to a nice family Snape would still miss him. He hates it. He hates how he missed that silly boy with his messy hair and bandages.
He sighed, waving some kids off. The train was about to leave so people were hurrying towards it. A small smile appears on his face as he realizes that Dazai would’ve probably been one of them.
Wiping that away, he waved at many different kids, but he really didn’t care who they were. He just wanted them to leave so he could leave. Because when the kids leave he leaves and when he leaves he can go do something about Dazai, finally.
But the kids were taking forever. It’d already been a whole minute and they weren’t leaving yet. Perhaps he could slip away now.
He would get in trouble. A lot of trouble, but could he wait any more? Yes, yes he could. The amount of trouble he’d get in is not worth it, as much as he wants to leave right now. Sighing, he watches the train finally start up and chug away. There were a few stray kids who he had to help, but it wasn’t too many.
After giving them directions to different places that they could go to get some help to get home, he went to get his belongings. He was leaving Hogwarts.
