Who knew speaking an other language is that sexy?
The girls and I split up and I’m walking to the assembly point for the teams. I see James and the team already waiting, but there is only one person I have my eyes on.
“Cas!!” I run into her arms and she hugs me back.
“Hey you! Haven’t seen you in a long time.”
“Again, I’m sorry that I didn’t eat dinner at your table yesterday.”
“I’m just messing with you, come here babe.” She gives me a soft kiss on my lips.
“Is that for good luck?”
“Mhm, don’t tell Reg I did that tho.” She gives me a tiny smile and I completely melt.
Dorcas grins at me, “So are you ready to lose Mckinnon?”
“Not over my rich, hot, dead body darling.”
“Okay, we need to win a game people, come on get ready!” Potter yells.
“Bye sweetheart.”
“Good luck losing Meadows,” I wink at her.

“Okay people, I want a fair game from everyone.” Madame Hooch her eyes go from our team to Gryffindor.
“Is everybody ready?”
I step on my broom and go stand in the right position.
“1… 2…3!” She blows her whistle and everyone is off the ground in seconds.
I fly with Dorcas first.
“So, did you passive aggressive flirt with Marlene again?” I ask her.
“Fuck yeah I did.” She is smirking and you could hear at her tone that she loves it.
“But you are not gonna hold back for her, right?”
“Reggie, Reggie, Reggie. Do I look like the type of girl to lose? I love Marls so much, don’t get me wrong but my ego doesn’t allow me to lose. Not from anyone.”
“I forgot that there is a reason you are in Slytherin.”
“Anyways, I’m gonna fly in the other direction now Black. Bye!”
And so she is gone before I can even answer. I go higher in the sky, it’s really a calm match if I’m honest.
I see a little gold flash flying in my eye sight. I try to follow it but it disappears in the clouds.
“For Merlin's sake!”
“What’s up Reggie, scared to lose from Gryfindor?” I hear the person behind me say, I don’t even have to look behind me to know who it is.
“What do you want, Potter?”
“I just wanna ask you to go to hogsmeade with me again.”
So Evan was right, he really doesn’t give up.
“And before you say no I wanna tell you all the reasons you should say yes.”
James is flying next to me now, and he is totally distracted from the game. He is so distracted that he doesn’t even notice the snitch that is flying around him. I fly closer to it, following it with the meaning of grabbing it the moment I can.
“I feel very bad for treating you the way I did and I could never life with the fact that I ignored my best mate’s very handsome little brother-”
“Potter, are you dating Lily?”
“Yes.”
“And you are asking to go to hogsmeade with me, and not the girl you are dating?”
“Well Lily is going with Pandora so I have free time.”
“And you chose to hang out with me?”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“Because I feel bad for treating you the way I did.”
“You just didn’t say sorry, that’s all. It’s no problem.”
“But it is to me.”
“Potter.” I look at him strictly.
“Black.”
Then a thought comes into my mind, if I keep him distracted we have a bigger chance to win.
“And what if I say no?”
“I don’t think you are gonna say no.” The snitch is so close right now, I only need to fly a little bit closer to it.
“Tu peux toujours rêver Potter.”
“It’s not a question anymore love, te invito a comer màs tarde.”
I immediately snap my head to James, and I feel my cheeks getting hot. Did he just speak Spanish to me?
“You, me, saturday in hogmeat, can’t wait to see you mi estrella.” He winks at me and I turn even more red. Before I know it someone flies past me and there is applause from the stadium. I look up and see the seeker of Gryfindor holding up the golden snitch. Fucking Potter.

I wink at Regulus and look at the seeker of the team. “There!”
Zoey flies as fast as she can to the snitch, racing by Regulus. He looks up confused and only when Zoey has the snitch in her hand, Regulus realizes that Slytherin has lost.
I immediately fly to Sirius and basically crash them into a hug. “We won!!”
We land hard on the ground and the rest of our friends join.
I run to Lily and give her a tight hug. “You did amazing James, truthly.” She is smiling very brightly.
“Thanks Lils!”
But strangely I didn’t feel the warmth I felt when I was talking to Regulus. But I probably felt warm because of the adrenaline.

Sirius flies into the air with their hair up in a bun, but due to all the flying some pieces are out of it.
I see their face turn into pure joy, and Sirius crashes into James.
I look around and see Gryfindors cheering everywhere.
“We won Remus!!” Lily hugs me tight. We all run to Marlene, Sirius and James to celebrate with them.
“Moony! We won!” Sirius runs to me and also crashes me into a hug.
“Yeah Sirius, you were so good!” I hug them back, my heart is racing because their hot breath is in my neck. But it doesn’t make me uncomfortable for some weird reason.
Mary says, “Yeah you all did amazing but I think Potter is the star player in this game tho.”
“No, that can’t be. I’m always the star player.” Sirius says.
“Very funny Black. No but have you seen what James did to Regulus?”
“No, what did you say James?”
“I just asked if Regulus would like to go to hogsmeade with me.”
“Why?”
“Because I ran into him and I didn’t say sorry, so I’m making it up to him.”
Marlene her eyebrows shoot up, “And?”
“What do you mean and?”
“You said something else.”
“Oh yes! So Regulus said something in the lines of ‘Tu peux toujours rêver Potter’ and Sirius also speaks French so I know a few words, and I know that rêver means dreams so I figured out he said something like ‘In your dreams.’ So I said ‘ te invito a comer màs tarde’ which means that it isn’t a question and that he has to come to hogsmeade with me, because I feel bad for what I did. And for some reason that took him completely off guard. Probably because he didn’t expect me to speak Spanish.”
“Yeah sure…” Marlene says.
I look at her, she definitely knows something the rest of us doesn't know.
“Well are we gonna party now or what?!” Mary says.
“Let us get a shower first and then the legendary party of ‘76 can start!” James says dramatically.
“Let’s set up all the drinks then.” Lily suggest.
Everybody follows, but I hold Marlene back. “What is it?”
“What do you mean?”
“What is happening between Regulus and James?”
“Oh no, I can’t tell you. I promised.”
“Marlene, you know everything about me. You even know where I go every full moon.”
“Nope, don’t you dare play the werewolf card on me Lupin.”
“Marlene, come on. Regulus is my friend and I wanna know what is going on.”
“But it’s not my fault that you told me about your fluffy problem.”
“Marlene.”
“Remus.”
“I’ll treat you to a firewhiskey?”
“Regulus has a big fat crush on James.”
“What?!”
“Already from 3rd year.”
“Talking about hopeless romantics…”
“And he knew that James could speak Spanish, but he just never heard him speak it.”
“So baby Black has a crush on his siblings best friend? Wow.”
“Yeah, but he was too afraid to say something, and now James is dating Lily.”
“So that is why Regulus said no to James's offer?”
“Yep.”
“I kinda feel sorry for him.”
“But you can’t tell anyone! I saw how Regulus looked at James, so I asked Dorcas what the thing is between the two and well, she didn’t even need to explain anything really. It was so painfully obvious.”
“I promise, I won’t tell anyone.”
“You better because Regulus is a friend of Dorcas, and I don’t want anything to change between me and her. I love her Remus, don’t you dare fuck that up.” She said blood serious while pointing her finger at me.
“Okay, Mckinnon, I get it. Don’t worry I won’t tell anyone.”
“Thank you.”
“Oi! Moony?!” We hear out changing rooms. The others were already gone, only James and Sirius are still in there.
“Well I’ll go help the rest with the party settings then, before Lily uses me as a confetti cannon.” Marlene walks off and now I’m alone standing against the door of the changing room.
“Yeah?” I answer the voice.
“Moony, could you come in please I need your help!”
I recognize Sirius's voice and tell them, “What? Can’t put your socks on? Do you need help from daddy?”
“Very funny Remus.”
I walk in, I hear water running and someone singing softly. Only James has that ‘I have no shame for my voice’ showers, so he is the one still showering.
I look around and see Sirius, standing with dripping hair and only a towel around their waist.
“So James thought that it was funny to put my sweater under the shower-”
“My sweater.” I tell them.
James says, “And I didn’t do it.”
“Yeah whatever, but now I don’t have a sweater anymore. Could I borrow yours?”
“Oh yeah sure.” I take off my sweater and give it to them.
Sirius catches it and it feels like everything is going in slow motion. First their left arm goes through the arm hole, and the fabric goes so smoothly over their muscles, the same thing happens with their right arm. And then Sirius pulls the sweater over their sixpack. Their hair falls over the sweater, even though Sirius didn’t even do anything to their hair, it’s already curling and shining. Only one strand of hair is in their face, I wanna brush it away with my hand. I want to curl it around my finger. I want to gently place it behind their ear while staring in Sirius their beautiful blue gray eyes and looking at their red lips-
I blink hard, oh fuck. Peter was right, I do like Sirius in a romantic way.
I need Lily for this.
“Hey?! Where are you going-”
I slam the door shut and spurt to the common room.
