Remus lupin is the English teacher everyone had a crush on in high school and you know I'm right
Summary
Remus Lupin is an English teacher at the local high school, he's type one diabetic and uses a cane. Everybody loves him. He's the teacher you go to if you're having a mental breakdown or you need someone to come out to and you have unsupportive parents because everybody knows that Mr Lupin will accept and support them. Sirius Black is the music teacher at the same high school. He has tattoos and he's the only teacher that the rebel kids listen to. Nobody is meant to know that they're married but as with all secrets at schools everybody knows.

Chapter 6

Remus walked into Ms McGonagall's office and sat down.
She adjusted her glasses and glanced at him. "What's the matter, Mr Lupin? Did Mr Black already cause an issue on his first day?"
Remus chuckled then replied. "No, Minnie. It's about Harry. Mulciber and Snape have been bullying him. From what I was able to gather, they were spewing racist and homophobic comments about his father and godfather."
Ms McGonagall nodded then replied. "I see... I will see what I can do but as you know, my hands are tied when it comes to certain issues, especially with Mr Mulciber being one of the governors and having such power on the school board."
Remus nodded, understanding.
Mr Mulciber gave a lot of money to the school every year to ensure his son got the best education and to ensure his son's behaviour would remain off his permanent record so his son could take over the family company when he left school. If he found out the school wished to suspend his son or give him any punishment further than a detention or two, he would simply pay them to sponge the problem off the records.
Remus asked. "What about Snape? Can we do anything about the bullying from him?"
Ms McGonagall shook her head. "We've had reports of Snape having a very difficult home situation so it would seem unfair to punish him for his behaviour, according to some of your peers."
Remus sighed, knowing there was nothing he could do for his friend's son.
Ms McGonagall put her hand on Remus' shoulder with an identical sigh. "Thank you for bringing this to my attention but I am unable to help you." With a glint in her eye, she continued. "If Harry was to be caught fighting perhaps, maybe the other teachers didn't see anything and they were too busy to know who threw the first punch so of course poor Harry wouldn't be suspended but we mustn't condone violence as I'm sure you can understand."
Remus, understanding what Ms McGonagall was implying, nodded. "Of course. We cannot condone violence."
Remus grabbed onto his cane and hobbled out of the room, hoping to catch his friends for some lunch before his next class.
