Chapter 2

After knowing that Sailor Moon was going to be missing Chibi Moon carefully made her way to where the senshi had collapsed exhausted. She had a feeling that if she was not where they could see the knowledge of her mother being missing would be a bit harder to take then if she tried to break it to them before they could truly panic. So she made her way back through the city back to where the majority of the fighting took place. She took in all the destruction that she would have to heal in place of Sailor Moon. She could tell it would tax her to a point but then again Sailor moon tended to have the help of the Senshi due to their pledges of loyalty and protection to help her.

As she found her way back to ground zero of the fight she saw this would be the place she had to spend the most energy with all the rubble that was around and uprooted plants. Maybe she would see if Mamoru would be willing to help on that part of it since it was his duty to protect the earth just as much as he had been protecting Sailor Moon. As she thought about the man that couldn’t be in the final fight due to the webs covering the Earth she knew that he was going to feel the need ,hopefully, to fix the last remaining scar of the fight without her asking.

Once she arrived she saw that Venus was the first to wake up and start to come back around of the senshi, From what she knew that was par for the course as Venus had more time as a senshi as well as was the commander of the inner senshi. So she looked at Venus with serious eyes.

“Commander, I need to let you know that Sailor Moon is nowhere to be found on earth, something happened that cannot be explained when Pegasus saved us, I don’t want you to panic but I can feel she is safe and everything is fine right now, I am still here so she is alive and well,” Chibi Moon said as she watched Venus take in the words she said.

“I see, the others might panic but I will try my best to mitigate how badly they do act in such a manner, Thank you for telling me Chibi Moon, I am just glad she is safe after everything,” Venus said nodding to the little girl who was trying to be so mature about the missing parental figure. She could tell she was nervous about the blow out and she could understand, she just knew she would have to protect the little one when the others found out.

Perry was walking the halls of the Air Palace. The soft Silvers, whites and blues normally calmed him down but, since noticing that new person that Medic Pervell took away at the dive. Peryton was finding it harder to find his calm which meant that he was going to go seek out his sister. While he knew that she could be busy, she would always make time to talk to him if it was needed, with how unsettled he was feeling he definitely needed time with her. So he walked the halls towards his sister’s office to see if she was there working.

As he walked past some of the Guards of the palace he was not sure what he was expecting to find when he arrived at his sister’s office but, her appearing as if she was waiting was not it. So when she smiled and motioned for him to take a seat he nodded and did as requested.

“So What has my favorite brother all out of sorts?” Dawne asked as she smiled at him.

“Nothing really, I just saw a new inheritance break a portal and correct themself without help down to the ground,” He said, frowning a bit as he thought back on the moves that the female had made.

Dawne raised an eyebrow at that statement then asked “And how do you know they were newly inherited?”

“Because their mentor came in as a medic even, and said that they had inherited early,” Perry paused as he looked at his sister.

“Oh continue,” Dawne said trying to get her brother to tell her more she was very invested to see what he had to say.

“There’s not much to stay other than she is very interesting in that when she arrived she shifted how she was presenting herself a couple of times, the first outfit was a gown that wouldn’t be out of place in your closest,” he paused thinking.

Dawne watched her brother working on figuring out what he wanted to say.

“Then when she dismissed that look she was wearing something that wouldn’t be out of place on a Gheyo, but she wasn’t giving off a Gheyo type aura though,” He continued.

Dawne felt herself sitting a little straighter once she heard this. This was actually interesting information.

“But it was what happened as she was acting defensive, She was speaking a language we couldn’t understand her until one of the Lunarian refugees came up and spoke with her, She said as long as no one tried to hurt her she would return to her Civilian form, once she did that’s when it got strange,” Perry said pausing.

Dawne couldn’t wait to hear what had been strange about what happened after this stranger changed to their civilian form especially if there was a Lunarian refugee involved. They tended to be a type that kept to their own.

“Yes she switched back to her civilian form and had a crescent mark on her forehead and the Lunarian knelt before her and called her princess right before she started speaking in the lunarian tongue then got overwhelmed and the Medic caught her.” Peryton said a bit of pout in his voice as he wished he had been able to get closer to the young woman.

“Well Perry it sounds like you like the unnamed princess of the lunarians,” Dawne said grinning as she watched Peryton blush lightly.

“No Dawne, That’s impossible, I have no intention of hunting this year, you know that, I didn’t even declare that I was hunting at all, I..” Perry said trailing off.

“Yup, you are already wrapped around her little fingers, even if we don’t know what her status is yet. I bet you she is a submissive, I am so happy for you finding a potential match Perry,” Dawne said as she thought about everything he had said, she knew she would have to talk with the other crown royals. If this was going to happen alongside other events, this was going to be a nightmare - or possibly something that Nevarah needed to help strengthen it - only time would tell.

Perry looked at his sister as he blushed slightly. “Now you are being ridiculous Dawne. I… I can’t hunt, I’m not ready and we both know that it would be improper for me to switch my status this late. I didn’t walk in the hunting group at the introductions, and with her coming in this late she hasn’t walked either, so she’s going to be on a back footing from the start. She’s got who knows how many years before she’s actually supposed to have inherited,” Perry shook his head then added.

“Besides Medic Peverell took her somewhere else to get checked over, and he’s her mentor by his own words,” he finished.

“Oh Brother you are in so deep you can’t even see how deep the dive is, and she’s got a Peverell for a mentor. You have a certain kind of luck brother, they will circle tightly around her to figure out everything they can and protect her along with the refugees. Good luck cracking how to find her, brother, that’s all I can say,” Dawne said as she frowned thinking about if she had by passed the main landing point of Nevarah how had that happened, or why; and was it a security risk? She would have to address that with the other royals.

Lewis Peverell liked to think that he was well versed in everything that could possibly go wrong while he prepared for his own mentee to come along eventually. When his nephew came to Nevarah and literally fell into his life much like his Mentee did. Now here he was looking at the Lunarian that was standing there trying to figure out if he was going to need a translator for now until they could help his mentee learn the language. With a deep breath he looked at the Lunarian and asked.

“Are you available to stay with us for a little bit?” Lewis asked as he looked at the Lunarian noticing the slight red highlights in his hair and eyes that were a red violet.
“I would be honored to join you, Deimos Magmyar,” the male said as he bowed to Lewis slightly.

As Lewis looked over the newly named Deimos and raised an eye at him not sure what to make of the young Lunarian. He took a deep breath as he nodded as he held onto his mentee then shifted how he was holding her.

“Hold onto me if you are going to be joining us,” Lewis stated as he held his unconscious mentee now in his arms. He felt the other grab his arm then he carefully casted his Portal to take them to the clinic he was planning on using today in the air territories.

Once they arrived he motioned for the young Lunarian to get the door. Once he saw that the portal had not disagreed with either of them he nodded and walked into the clinic and saw as the nurse on duty noticed the unconscious youngling in his arms.

“What happened?” the nurse asked as she looked at Lewis.

“Broken portal, no wing damage luckily but I also think this might be standard inheritance rest as she just came into an early inheritance when the portal broke,” Lewis said.

“It is a Lunarian Dragel inheritance,” Deimos added as he looked at the nurse.

“That makes it a little different, we don’t know enough about Lunarian’s inheriting to know what is normal,” the Nurse said.

“We should still treat it like an early inheritance, so we should let the master healers look her over,” Lewis said

“Are you her mentor?” the nurse asked.

“Yes, The Peverell circle will take care of her expenses,” He said, knowing that they would not worry over expenses with an early inheritance mentee.

“Understood. Please proceed to room 2 and I will have Master Healer Kadel join you in a moment,” the nurse said as she moved to make all the notes that were needed.

Lewis nodded and went to the assigned room along with Deimos.

“I will remain quiet while the master healer is here I promise, I just thought it was important to let them know it is a Lunarian Dragel inheritance,” Deimos said as he saw Lewis nodded.

As they had her laid down on the bed they waited for the Master Healer. Lewis was nervous about what could have brought her into an early inheritance with skills that took time to earn after one inherited.

It was not much longer before the Master Healer came in, Lewis looked up and saw it was Gaelyn Kadel that was standing there. Gaelyn stood at 5 '8 with her healer's robes on, she had her brunette hair pulled back into a braided bun that left her serious face free of hair. Her gray eyes were sharp in looking at who was in the room. She let them narrow at Lewis as she noticed the Medic, the unknown male sitting beside him, possibly a trainee and a youngling female that was laying on the bed.

“What did you get into now, Peverell ?” Gaelyn asked as they stepped into the room.

“A new Mentee, Lunarian Dragel inheritance that was early,” Lewis stated, crossing his arms as he tried not to be put off by Healer Gaelyn’s abrupt manner at trying to get to the heart of the problem.

“Well then, just a wonderful case you’re bringing me eh Peverell? Now who is this other person?” Gaelyn asked as she looked at the other man in the room. She had a feeling if he had been a Trainee Lewis would have had him talk about the case but since she was his Mentee that did not seem the case.

“Deimos Magmyar, Lunarian Martian Pereya,” Deimos said as he was asked about which got a nod from the Healer. Gaelyn wasn’t worried as long as the little Peraya did not get in the way of her scans or work she might have to do. She was curious why he was here.

“Alright then, Let me get a few baselines before we try to see if there is anything underlying that is of concern,” Gaelyn said as she turned her attention to the youngling that was laid there on the bed. She noticed that she was wearing a uniform that consisted of a knee length blue pleated skirt a white shirt with cuffs and collar in navy with white stripes and a red bow that had a beautiful broach sitting on it.

“I wonder where she came from,” Gaelyn said in a whisper as she went about casting her diagnostic magic on the youngling. As she got the information back she frowned. She read the parchment that she got from it then handed it off to Lewis to read. What she had read was saying that the youngling was going to be interesting to bring about change here in Nevarah. With two familial seals there was not much that Gaelyn could really do until they could work those seals out. So she started to sketch out the seals.

Each was intricate, the first one she sketched out was a crescent moon that had a lotus flower at its base and between the points of the moon was what looked like an eye open and flaring off spikes. In the center of the moon below the eye was an eight pointed star.

The second seal was one that Gaelyn had never seen before but heard about. It was a sun that in the center was a scroll-like heart that came from a butterfly done in scrollwork. On the wings of the butterfly were cross stars that looked much like the eight points of a compass. The way these were anchored concerned Gaelyn but she didn’t know how they would even work to remove them as she had never seen seals like these except in written text saying that they were not used anymore and if they were they were the work of family magic.

“So she’s in post inheritance sleep right now?” Lewis said as he read it.

“Seems like it but, she does seem to have two seals on her still, which is concerning when you think about her early inheritance,” Gaelyn said

“We need to know more about what happened before she came here,” Lewis said as he looked at the parchment in his hand. He looked at the girl beside him on the bed as he wanted to figure out where they were even going to begin to help her through this.

“Give me a few more moments to get a few more spells back from checking her,” Gaelyn said as she got another general health scroll. She read it over then took a minute to nod.

“This one says she’s in pretty good health physically.Magically she’s a mix of contradictions, she’s magically exhausted but has reserves that seem vast and nearly endless. I am not sure what to think about what I’m reading here but let's go with the assumption that she’s magically tired for now until we can figure out more about her baseline once she’s awake.” Gaelyn said as she paused her diagnosis charms.

“There anything else wrong right now Healer Kadel?” asked Lewis as Deimos seemed to go wide eyed.

“I just don’t want to do much more without her being awake to answer questions so i’d say take her home for now and let her rest until she wakes, she could be in a post inheritance realignment period so let her sleep until she naturally wakes. I’ll leave a slot open for you to take on my books when she wakes,” Gaelyn said as she looked at Lewis.

“Thank you Healer Kadel,” Lewis said, knowing that it was going to be interesting to see how she handled what was going on with her once she was conscious again.

Lewis moved to pick the youngling up as he had the air carefully pull her hair over her shoulders and pool against her instead of dragging the ground.

“No thanks needed Peverell , just watch over the youngling, she’s only about 15 years old, so whatever caused her to inherit early may or may not have been a good thing, if the magical exhaustion is anything to go by. She might not have been very safe but also not in mortal peril to scream, so it was possibly at the edge of forcing the circle to be made if she inherited at least,” Gaelyn said as she wondered what more they would learn once the young female woke.

“I understand, I will do everything to make sure she is as safe and secure when she is resting, Come along Deimos we should let the healer get back to her rounds,” Lewis said as he took the parchment and tucked them away for now.

“Thank you for helping my princess Master Healer Kadel,” Deimos said as he bowed, then went to follow Lewis, missing the eye widening of Healer Gaelyn as she filed that information away.

Once out with a chip for the held appointment for the new inheritance youngling Lewis looked at Deimos. “You are welcome to come with me to see her settled and we can get you known by the others in my circle so that you can visit my Mentee if you need to but what had your eyes going wide when the doctor talked about her magical reserves? Is it going to be something dangerous that we need to know about?” Lewis asked as he walked with the Lunarian male.

“I have a suspicion about why she has a vast nearly limitless reserve but I will not talk about it without being behind strong wards or privacy wards and a vow of secrecy at the very least,” Deimos said as he looked at Lewis.

“Then let us go back to my circle’s home, where you will have to visit to see this youngling anyways,” Lewis said

Deimos nodded as he then held onto Lewis’ shoulder as he cast the portal. It was going to be a long day still, Lewis could tell.
