My Love Mine All Mine
Normally Gihun would've gone to work, have a cigarette on the rooftop, talk to Sangwoo and work. Today had been different unfortunately as his plans failed.
He went to the rooftop while pulling out a box of cigarettes, wanting to meet Sangwoo or be alone there.
Being met with a sight of Sangwoo made his heart flutter, until he saw someone else there. He tried to decipher who it was before approaching, realizing it was his manager, Hwang.
Gihun cursed himself internally before approaching Sangwoo, holding his hand and leaning his head on his shoulder, ignoring the look from the other man. Gihun sighed and placed a gentle kiss to Sangwoo's cheek before pulling out his cigarettes and lighting one, inhaling deeply while enjoying the numb feeling. He offered it to Sangwoo, who took it up and placed it in his mouth, inhaling deeply before taking it out and exhaling.
After smoking and talking to his boyfriend he had left soon, feeling excluded by the other man.
Gihun had never known about their bond, nor that they knew each other. If Gihun were honest he was sort of jealous of how close they were.
Who was Gihun kidding, he could care less on who Sangwoo talked to, as long as he still loved him.
Gihun stopped thinking about them and worked on his report, not hearing the manager Hwang enter his department and everyone go quiet. While this happened Gihun decided to leave with his coffee, it being lunch break anyways. Bad decision as he bumped into Hwang, spilling coffee everywhere
"Oh, sorry! I am very sorry, my coffee didn't stain your jacket, did it? I promise I will pay for it just don't kill me, I'm sorry."
"Mr.Seong, it is quite alright."
That was not the reaction Gihun expected from the man, feeling dumbfounded as his jaw slightly dropped but he picked it right back up. "Oh, ok. I will still pay, I think."
He sighed and cursed himself internally once again, rushing to the elevator and pressing the buttons to the lobby, wanting to leave as soon as possible.
He was such an idiot.
He returned a bit after, forgetting his own jacket. He saw Sangwoo laughing with CFO Hwang, his heart pinching slightly. Sangwoo was mostly a serious man, letting his soft side out with people he truly trusted. Gihun rarely saw him out work, so he barely got this side. Seeing it at work, so carefree, hurt more. Especially with him. Out of everyone him. But it was alright, Gihun could forgive. He always forgave, especially when it technically isn't their fault.
Gihun forgave.
He tried to pretend it didn't hurt, even if it was hard. Gihun concealed these bad emotions frequently, pretending nothing hurt him. He went along his day, talking to Sangwoo, writing reports, checking his phone, and leaving when most of his work was finished.
Worst part of that day came when he had bumped into manager Hwang in the elevator. It was mostly a silent journey down, aside from the occasional ding from the elevator. Gihun felt slightly awkward, his cheeks dusting a light shade of pink before brushing it off. It was only his manager, there was nothing to worry about.
He stepped out and walked hastily out the building, wanting nothing to do with work at that moment. He ran back to his apartment before sunset hit, except for the odd times he would pet a stray cat.
He shrugged his coat off once he got inside, overwhelmed from the spring heat. He hated but loved spring, for its temperature and beauty it brings. He loved taking Sangwoo on nature walks, showing him scenery almost every time they had together. He was mostly one to take for dates outside than inside, rather viewing natures beauty than going shopping or dining fancy. Gihun had some weird bond with nature, no matter the season. He loved plants and the gorgeous sceneries, thankful for Earth's natural views than the city views.
While thinking of one of his dates with Sangwoo, a text appeared on his phone. He unlocked it and checked what it was, who it was and what they wanted. Sangwoo had asked him to go to one of the local bars that recently opened, ending the sentence with a heart emoji. Gihun agreed to go, figuring out a manageable time and place to get picked up. They both agreed to 7pm and outside Gihuns apartment block.
7PM came and Gihun was ready, sweatpants and a black shirt, keeping it simple. Sangwoo was dressed in his usual attire, overly fancy with his usual hairstyle. They arrived, got seated and ordered drinks. A soju for Sangwoo and a bokbunja for Gihun. A few drinks later and maybe hours, Gihun doesn't know, Sangwoo takes him home in a cab, sleeping at his house for the night too.
Morning comes and Sangwoo offers to drive him to work, giving Gihun his breakfast he cooked for him beforehand. Gihun refuses and says he can walk, knowing he will be on time anyways. He does walk, but it slightly off time by 5 minutes. The bad part is, he has a meeting firsthand when he gets to work. Manager Hwang is already there, letting him off with a warning of being 5 minutes off track, which he is grateful for. All goes well in the meeting and he goes out for his break, meeting Sangwoo on the rooftop as usual. Luckily for him his manager is not there this time. About 10 minutes passed and Sangwoo left to return into his department, before he got scolded. Gihun stayed and smoked, looking at the mountains behind the city, not hearing the door open behind him. He was slightly startled when a shorter man appeared silently next to him, staring him down.
"Manager Hwang, welcome." Gihun awkwardly greeted to the man next to him, viewing him too.
"Smoking isn't good for you." His manager stated obviously, seeing the cigarette in Gihuns mouth.
"I know." He couldn't even talk before the man before him plucked it out of his mouth and inhaled it in his slowly.
Gihun was absolutely stunned, staring in shock and barely processing what happened. He watched him exhale the smoke then step on the cigarette, putting it out. He turned and left, "We can meet again, Mr.Seong."
Gihun was still in shock
