Cyrus & The Toddler; The Afternoon
After art, Diana came up and apologized to Willow. "I'm sorry Willow for yelling at you."
Willow, of course forgetting about the earlier incident, smiled at the elder, "Happy, now!"
Diana nodded, while taking the girls hand, "Do you want to play with me or Cy?"
Willow looked at Cyrus with a little bit of hesitation. Cyrus of course noticed this and stepped in to help out. "Wil, its okay to go with Di I'll be over here playing Quidditch."
The toddler, after a second of thinking, looked up at the girl, "Play?"
A/N: Note that when Willow is shy her speech regresses abit, but isn't too noticeable
Diana let out a little squeal while leading them both over to the swing set, which was near the football (soccer)/quidditch field just in case something did happen. Already at the swings was a young girl, and one of Diana's best friends, named Lou. Lou's parents are both witches (A/N: YES SHE HAS TWO MOMS) who both had shops in Diagon Alley. (A/N: We will meet her moms in a later chapter I promise).
"LOU!" Diana yelled.
Lou, once hearing her name, looked up to see two girls running over to her.
"This is Willow, she wants to play with us." Diana explained.
Willow gave Lou a small wave, who gave her a wave in return. During this interaction Diana had let go of Willows hand and made her way over to one of the empty seats next to Lou. Once seeing that Diana made her way to the swings, Willow followed taking the empty seat next to Diana.
~Timeskip~
It was nearing the time that the older brothers were coming to pick up their siblings. Cyrus had gotten tired of playing Quidditch with the other boys so he made his way over to the swings. Lou had left around 30 minutes ago, leaving just Diana and Willow on the swings, so seeing the empty seat Cyrus took it.
After another 10 minutes of swinging, although it was just Diana talking and Cyrus pushing Willow on the swing, Cyrus noticed his brother, Draco, alongside his friends.
Cyrus stopped pushing Willow, "Will! Di! Look whos here!"
Willow and Diana both looked up to see who Cyrus was talking about.
Willow had the brightest smile on her face once she saw her brother at the fence that lined the playground. "PO!"
"Hey Kiddo," Apollo said, while walking alongside the fence towards the gate. Once the three boys entered Willow immediately made grabby hands towards her brother, who picked her up with ease.
"Have fun today?" He asked her. The girl only nodded while letting out a small yawn, showing the elder she was tired.
"DRAY!" Cyrus called out, "I was such a good big brother!"
"Really?" Draco asked, while taking his brothers hand with the boys backpack over his shoulder.
"YEAH!" The 5 year old shouted, while telling his brother, and Apollo, about his day.
Diana just kept quiet, knowing that their teacher was going to tell Andrew about her little outburst. She was right, as the three of them went into the classroom to talk about Diana's behaviour.
"Mr. Lock, before you leave can I speak with you? Alone." Miss. Dove said.
Andrew gave his sister a look that read, wait outside in the hall. Diana immediately ran outside, too wait for her brother and teacher to finish talking.
"Mr. Lock, I don't want you to be mad at Diana over this," Miss. Dove said, once Diana left the room.
Andrew gave her a questioning look. "Really? She made a kid cry."
"But she also became every protective over Willow, just like how Cyrus is." She explained.
"But why don't tell me this when Di, was in the room?" Andrew asked, still puzzled.
"Because she feels like she betrayed you in some sense," Miss. Dove explained, "Andrew, she really looks up to you. Whenever there's a topic during class that she already knows about, she always says 'My big brother, Andrew, taught me'. So I wanted to say, even though your parents are died she really really looks up to you, and doesn't want to disappoint you in anyway.".
Andrew was speechless, he didn't realize up until that moment just how much is little sister looks up to him and doesn't want to make him sad or anger.
"Now I've taken to much of your time Mr. Lock, let me walk both you and Diana out." Miss. Dove said while getting up from her desk. The trio walked outside, and towards the path that lead back to Hogwarts.
