Draco & The Baby
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry; Potions
"Mr. Malfoy, a moment," Snape said while Draco and his 'gang', Pansy Parkinson, Blaise Zabini, Gregory Goyle, and Apollo Lupin, were leaving their potions class. Which thankfully was with Hufflepuff instead of Gryffindor, and heading to DADA, Defence Against the Dark Arts. Just as Draco turned around to re-enter the class Snap raised his hand at him, "JUST, Mr. Malfoy, Miss. Parkinson," Draco didn't realize that Pansy had also turned around with him.
Pansy left but not without giving Draco a peck on his cheek, which he quickly rubbed off. At that point his godfather/potions teacher, Severus Snape, approached him.
"So. It's true then Draco?" Snape stated
"Yes, they are renewing their vows and have asked me to look after Cyrus." Draco stated, rather quickly.
Snape just nodded his head. Draco, playing with the end of his rode sleeves, broke the silence, "Sev, what should I do? I would like to go home and see Cyrus," Draco began, "I feel bad for missing his birthday.", he thought at the same time. "But there's also the problem of doing all my schoolwork at night and then taking care of a baby all day."
Snape just listen, not even shaking his head in agreement or disagreement. "Then there's also the problem if they bring him here. Everyone will find out that me, Draco Malfoy, has a soft spot."
That's when Snape started his talking. "Draco, as your godfather, I think it's best if you go back to the manor. But if what Lucius told you in his letter is true, then you'll have to bring Cyrus to class with you."
"Sev, can you please talk to Dumbledore and see what he has to say?" Draco asked, while still playing with his robe sleeve. Snape just rubbed his forehead and gave Draco that look, the look he gave 3 year old Draco when he asked his godfather to ask his father if they could go see a real Quidditch match.
"WE," Snape began," Your not 3 anymore Draco. We'll go and talk to Albus, NOW." And with that the two made their way to Dumbledore's office, Draco wish they could have waited until his free period, which would have been after DADA. But here he was walking up the stairs to Dumbledore's office.
"Severus. Draco. Lemon drop?" The man asked, once the two entered. Snape just shaked his head, taking a seat, while Draco took one.
"Albus, you do know why me and Draco came up here?" Snape asked.
Albus just shook his head, Snape hated that, then unwrapped a lemon drop, putting it into his mouth, "Yes, Severus. I think that the Malfoy's should bring young Cyrus here. It's much safer, due to the Dementors, don't you think?"
Draco just sat there mouth opened, which wasn't every Malfoy of him. Draco thought long and hard about this idea. "The Dementors? Is Dumbledore crazy? Those things are a living hell."
After what felt like a century, in reality it was only 20 seconds, Draco felt a tap on his shoulder. He looked up and saw his godfather. "Draco. Let's go, I have informed all of your teachers that you will have the rest of the day off." Snape said as they made their way back to his office.
"What do you mean?" Draco asked.
"Apparently Albus had already owled your father, rude if you ask me," Snape answered, "And he came to the conclusion himself without your input that Cyrus will be coming to Hogwarts this evening."
"WHAT, but I just got Father's letter this morning." Draco argued, "Plus my Father stated that he wanted owls from both of us not just Dumbledore."
Snape just shook his head. "I'll send your mother a patrons, once we get back to my office. And don't worry, we are going to be giving you two your own room."
Draco, for the second time that day, opened his mouth. But closed it within a millisecond. "I understand, I'll be in the Great Hall if you need me." And with that Draco left his godfather and made his way to the Great Hall.
Malfoy Manor
"Master. Master." A house elf, Poppy, called.
"I'm in my study Poppy," Lucius replied.
A second later the house elf was in front of Lucius. "Master. A letter from Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts S-"
"Poppy. The letter now." Lucius cut off the elf, "Go get Cissy." With that Poppy went to get Mrs. Malfoy.

"Dwaco?" Cyrus asked his mother for the hundredth time.
"Yes. CYRUS, STOP PULLING AT YOUR CLOTHES." His mother, Narcissa said after turning around to find her youngest trying, but failing, to take off his dress robes Pebble had put him in only 10 minutes before.
"Cissy. Cyrus, you two almost ready?" Lucius asked from the doorway of the nursery.
Narcissa sighed mouthing an "almost" over her toddler's shoulder. Lucius nodded and snapped his fingers, a second later *pop* and Poppy was at Lucius side. Lucius, rarely, bent down and whispered to the elf, "Get the fireplace and floo powder ready," he told her. Poppy nodded her head and another pop was heard.
Earlier that day; Hogwarts: Great Hall
Once in the Great Hall Draco was thankful that the only people from his 'gang' were Apollo and Gregory, who knew all about Cyrus. Draco gave them a little wave, and began to tell them what his parents were doing. Just as he thought that morning their parents were also going to Hawaii for the wedding. Draco also decided that he would tell Blaise Zabini about his brother, but under no circumstances would he tell Pansy.
Draco had noticed Blaise exiting his last class, History of Magic. "Zabini," Draco called out.
"Malfoy," Blaise said smiling.
"Listen. Meet me in our common room, make sure Parkinson isn't following you understand," Darco ordered. Blaise laughed it off then nodded.
Extending his hand out, "Lead the way Heir of Slytherin.".
Now for some reason THAT made Draco smile.
~Time Skip~
Once Draco explained to Blaise his situation, who once again just laugh it off swearing that he won't tell Pansy, Snape came into the common room looking for Draco.
"Draco, Dumbledore's office." And with that Snape left followed close behind him, Draco who had waved a quick goodbye to Blaise.
As Snape said the password for Dumbledore's office, Smarties, the blonde-haired 3rd year had reached his godfather. Draco was thankful that he was able to change into some more casual clothes, if you would count a dark blue button up and dress pants as casual, since he hated wearing his school uniform in front of his brother.
Once they reached the door the two could hear talking, "Draco, knock." Snape whispered into his ear.
Draco nodded his head, a took a long deep breathe in while knocking on the door. He didn't realize he was holding his breath until he heard his headmaster's voice on the other side telling him to enter.
Right as Draco stepped foot into the room he felt a pair of arms wrapped around his legs. Looking down he saw a mop of hair, just like his mother's. He heard the mop of hair talking saying over and over again, "Dwaco. Dwaco. Pway. Dwagon."
"Looks like someone's happy to see you." Narcissa says.
"Mother, Father," Draco's voice held a little bit of shock, "Forgot you guys were here."
Lucius rolled his eyes, "Darling, hand over Cyrus's suitcase."
Narcissa's just smiled and walked over to her two boys. "Draco everything he needs is in here, also don't worry about my list. I thought Dumbledore and you would have talked." She then bent down towards her youngest. While removing him from his brother legs, "Cy, Mummy and Daddy have to go now, okay?"
Cy just nodded at his mother, before turning back to his brother making grabby hands. Draco picked him up with ease and placed the toddler on his hip. "Cy, I think you should listen to what Mother has to say," the blond whispered.
Narcissa gave her eldest a smile, "Now please be good for your brother, and we will see you in 2 months." She said while kissing the toddlers checks, earning a giggle. She then gave Draco a sideways hug, due to the toddler.
Now it was Lucius turn to say goodbye to his son's, "Now Draco, you are the head of the Malfoy family while we're gone understood."
"Yes Father."
"Now for you Cyrus, if you aren't good for your brother, me and your Mother won't bring home any presents for you. Is that understood?" Draco had always hated how his father talked to his brother, but he also remembered at that age his father would talk the same way.
"Pwesents? Bad?" The toddler stated in a confused tone.
"Thanks right, if your bad for Draco then we won't bring you back any presents." Lucius said whilst russling Cyrus's hair. Cyrus had tried to smack his father's hands off but it didn't work. Lucius then shook Draco's hand. With one last wave from Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy they were back in the fireplace, heading home.
"Bye-Bye," Cyrus waved whilst his parents went up in flames.
Now it was just Draco, Cyrus, Snape, and Dumbledore, left in the room. "So, Headmaster where exactly is my new room?" Draco asked after his brother had gone quiet and was now playing with Draco's watch, which was his grandfathers.
"That's why Professor Snape came up with you. Severus? Do you mind showing the Malfoy boys to their new room?" Dumbledore asked.
Snape nodded, and made a follow me motion with his hand. Draco quickly used a shrinking spell on the suitcase and put it into his back pocket. As they made their way to Draco's new room for the next 2 months, Cyrus was pointing out almost everything to his brother.
"Dwaco, wooky," Cyrus said pointing to a painting, "movin'"
Draco chuckled while ruffling the boys hair, which unlike with his father, didn't try to stop Draco. After another 5 minutes the trio reached a painting. The painting was of a man, who looked like he was from England's victorian-era, he was wearing a 'casual suit' with a long trench coat, a hat, and a cane.
"Severus." The man said.
"Mr. Preston. I would like to introduce you to your new resistance," Snape said. "This," while putting his hand on Draco's shoulder, "is my godson, Draco. And the little guy in his arms is Cyrus."
"Nice to meet Draco, Cyrus," Mr. Preston said.
Cyrus giggled, "Funny. Dwaco, pantin' talk."
Before Draco could scold his brother for being rude, Mr. Preston started to laugh. "Indeed I am. Now Draco, I should probably tell you the password." Mr. Preston continued, "The password is-"
"Oothwess. Passwowd, 'Oothwess!" Cyrus shouted. Now both Mr. Preston and Draco were in shock, Snape just looked the same. "Dwaco, passwowd 'Oothwess?"
"Will have to ask Mr. Preston if that's okay. Do you want me to ask him?" Draco answered. And as if on queue his brother became nervous, which is not unusual, but it was unusual since he hadn't shown a hit of shyness since he went to pick up his brother. After a moment of silence Cyrus had mumbled, "Dwaco, tell. Dwaco tell Mw. Pwestin."
Draco chuckled at how his brother pronounced the paintings name, "Mr. Preston, it seems like my brother wants the password to be Toothless. If that's okay with you?"
Mr. Preston thought hard for a moment. "Cyrus. I think that Toothless is a wonderful password. Also Draco please call me Preston, the Mr. makes me feel old." And with that the painting opened up and relieved Draco and Cyrus new living quarters.
