The group of Slytherin friends and Pandora went to Pandora's secret room. Pandora has a private room in Hogwarts, it was given by the head of their house, Mister Flitwick, because Pandora keeps on doing dangerous experiments in their common room and to do less damage, Mr. Flitwick gave Pandora a private room where she can test her experiments without endangering other students.
In her secret room, you can find different things that are gross and cute at the same time. And, of course, she has her own pensieve, and she uses it to show the other three what happened between Regulus and James, from the beginning till the astronomy tower thing. And after showing it, she received three different reactions from her friends.
Dorcas was trying to stop herself from crying.
Evan is clearly angry, you can see it in his eyes and how he clenched his fists.
And Barty, who has an indifferent face.
And they were silent for at least a minute or two until Barty spoke, "What was that?" he asked. He knows what happened, but he can't make himself believe what he just saw.
"Regulus and James," Pandora answered, keeping it cool. "They were in a relationship until James chose Sirius, and here we are."
"And you didn't even stop him?"
"As you have seen in my memories, I tried Barty, but he won't listen."
"And I also saw that you supported their relationship! God! You even helped him deceive us."
"Why shouldn't I support him when it makes him smile?"
Barty looked at Pandora with disbelief written on his face, "Because Regulus is stupid when it comes to feelings, Pandora. He would literally do stupid things if he followed his feelings without thinking about the consequences! And look where it landed him? He's asleep on that freaking bed and won't wake up!"
Oh, Barty is also angry. That makes it two.
"Don't shout at my sister, Barty." Evan intervened before the two even fought.
"I didn't shout at Pandora, Evan."
"You raised your voice at her," Evan said, making Barty roll his eyes.
It was Dorcas who talked this time, "Will the two of you knock it off? Let's focus on the problem in our hands."
"I agree," Pandora said, "Let's think of how we can wake Regulus up." She is still worried about Regulus even if Professor Dumbledore is currently looking after him.
And before they could even think, Barty was already gone.
"Where are you going, Barty?" Dorcas ran after him.
"To Potter, " Barty answered without stopping or looking back.
"Why?" Evan asked.
"Because maybe I can raise my voice at him, and he won't think that I am raising my voice at him." And then he was gone.
Evan just bit his lips at Barty's response, "Merlin! He is so dramatic." he mumbled.
"And hot."
Evan confusedly looked at Dorcas, "What did you just say?"
"You don't even swing that way, Dorcas." Pandora chirped in.
"He's hot, and even if I like girls, I know what hot is when I see one." Dorcas answered, "And let's run after him after him." And Dorcas walked first so that the two won't see her blushing.
Pandora followed Dorcas while laughing at his brother, who seemed shocked at what Dorcas just said. She agrees that Barty looked hot a while ago, but he still raised his voice at her, and she's still upset about it.
____
Barty walks fast.
That's what Pandora realizes when she sees Barty and James punching each other in the hallway, because they are just a few minutes behind when Barty left, yet it seems that a lot of things happened before they arrived. Books were scattered on the floor, and many students were surrounding the two and not helping Peter, who was trying to separate the two.
"What happened?" Dorcas asked the Hufflepuff girl.
The girl answered without looking at her, "Barty just came screaming and cursing at James. Then he mentioned Regulus, but I didn't hear what he exactly said, and then James threw the first punch. And I can't believe that Barty can throw a punch."
Everyone thought that Barty couldn't fight using his hands because he loved his hands so much that he always had a handkerchief at him, and he didn't like touching anyone or anything except his friends. But the truth is that Barty actually loves boxing. He even has his own punching bag at their house because he believes that, as a man, he should know how to fight without his wand, just in case, and he enjoys having blood on his hands.
"Yeah, he can throw a punch, and he looks hot." Dorcas agreed, and the other girl nodded her head.
Evan rolled his eyes when he heard what Dorcas just said, "Really, Dorcas?" He asked.
Dorcas looked at him, "Come on, he looks hot, okay?" And she pointed at Pandora, "Even your sister agrees with me."
Evan looked at his sister just to see him blushing while intently watching Barty and James fight.
He just faced palmed in his mind before stepping closer to James and Barty, "Stop it, Barty. Your lips are already bleeding and so is James." He then gripped Barty's hand before it lands another punched.
Barty angrily looked at the one who stopped him just to smile when he saw Evan, "Rosier! You finally caught up! Merlin, you walked slowly, you didn't see how Potter's face turned red when I told him that I kissed Regulus." Barty was smiling like he just did something so amazing by pissing Potter off.
Evan just shook his head to stop himself from smiling because Barty looked cute, even if he had bruises on his left cheek. He then looks at Potter, who is being hugged by Peter to prevent him from attacking Barty again.
"We all kissed Regulus before,"in the forehead. "So, don't get cocky, Barty." And Evan smiled at Potter, who looked at him like he wanted to punch Evan too. "You want to punch me too, Potter?" he asked the Gryffindor.
"Stop making fun of him, Evan," Dorcas intervened, "I'm sorry for Barty punching you, Potter, but you deserve it." And Dorcas threw another punch to Potter, and another fight began.
Barty and Dorcas against Potter until Peter joined in to defend James.
"20 galleons for Dorcas and Barty," Pandora said to his brother, who just rolled his eyes again.
"As if I would bet on Potter."
The other older students tried to break off the fight, but they couldn't until Professor McGonagall appeared to stop the fight.
"What is happening here?!" She asked the four students who had blood on their lips.
"They were attacking James, so I defended him!" Peter answered when no one spoke.
"He punched me first, so I had to defend myself," Barty said.
"You cursed at James and pushed him to attack you, and Dorcas punched him again." Peter counterattacked.
"All the six of you, let's go to the office of the headmaster," Professor McGonagall faced the other students, "I deduct 20 points from all the students who just watched them."
And then they were gone.
______
Peter and James were sitting facing Barty and his friends.
"I deduct 200 points from the Slytherins and 150 points from the Gryffindors." Professor Dumbledore said, earning a look from Barty.
"Really, headmaster? You will deduct lower points to them? Sound very fair to me." Barty said dryly.
And Dumbledore just sighed, "Because I know that it's your fault why Mr. Potter here punched you."
"You're not even there," Barty mumbled.
"Base on how you only care that I deduct lower points to them and not because you got punched, says it all, Mr. Crouch." Dumbledore explained, "Now, why did you provoke him into punching you? You don't even talk to one another, so why did you talk to him in the first place?" He asked Barty, but the student just shrugged and didn't answer. "Mr. Crouch, I suggest that you answer my question before I call your father." He tried to scare Barty.
And for the first time, Barty agreed to Dumbledore, "Yes, let's call my father and Pandora's parents. And maybe we can even call Mr. and Mrs. Black here so that they can judge whether what I did, helping Regulus, is wrong or not." He suggested.
"What do you mean by that, Mr. Crouch?" Professor McGonagall asked.
Barty stood up, "Well, Professor, your favorite student here cornered Regulus yesterday, and now Regulus won't wake up." He explained, "You can connect the dots, Professor."
And for the very first time, James spoke, "What happened to Regulus?"
"Oh, look! Potter can talk!" Barty said instead of answering James' question.
James didn't care about Barty; he looked at Pandora, "What happened to him?"
Pandora frowned at him, "Why do you even care Potter? He's not your friend."
"The question is, what did you do to our friend, and why won't he wake up Potter?" Evan asked James.
"Mr. Potter." Professor Dumbledore called James.
"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO HIM!"James exclaimed, "Why would you even think that I would hurt Regulus?"
"Because Sirius hates him, so you also hate him, and why did you keep on following him? And you even cornered him." Barty said.
He was pushing James once again, and it's driving James mad.
"We don't hate Regulus! Me and Sirius, we don't hate him. We..." James didn't continue what he was about to say.
"You what, Potter? Love him?" Barty asked, "You love him? Sirius was making fun of Regulus last year, and he was cursing at Regulus while you just watched and always siding with Sirius. Now you're telling us that he doesn't hate Regulus. Really Potter?"
James couldn't defend him and Sirius because he was more concerned about Regulus rather than what Barty was saying.
So Barty continued, "Listen here, Potter, if Regulus won't wake up tomorrow! I will make you sleep forever."
"Mr. Crouch! That is enough." Dumbledore stood from his seat. "Leave and let me talk to James alone." He ordered, and Evan, together with Pandora and Dorcas, stood up from their seats, but Barty didn't move. Instead, he looked at Dumbledore.
"No." He said, "Let us call our parents."
Dumbledore looked at Barty, "What do you want, Mr. Crouch? And respect me."
"I want Potter and his friends to stop bothering Regulus. Because the next time they follow Regulus, I write to our parents saying that Potter is disturbing us and that we can't focus on our studies, while you just let him be."
And no one talked after that, there was only silence.
Now, Professor Dumbledore isn't sacred of Barty's threat or to the Ministry, but the Blacks are another story. They have an undeniable influence on the pureblood families and if they all reunite, it will cause a big problem to the school.
"Albus..." He heard Professor McGonagall call him.
He didn't look at her. He stared back at Barty, "I am issuing an order that James Potter and his friend won't bother Regulus or any of you, and the moment they disturb you, I will punish them." Dumbledore said.
Of course, he won't punish Potter and his friends. He is just saying to make Barty stop already.
"Headmaster..." James was about to disagree when Headmaster Dumbledore looked at him.
"Think about Sirius, James," Dumbledore said meaningfully.
And James understood what he meant. If Barty will call their parents, Mr. And Mrs. Black will blame the school and they will also blame Sirius, and James knows that he Sirius doesn't want to see their parents because of his trauma. And Sirius didn't even know about his talk with Regulus, so James just nodded his head.
When Barty saw this, he smiled, "Okay! I'll trust your words, Headmaster." He then faced his friends, who were silently watching him. He smiled at them, "Let's go and visit Regulus."
