Sirius and Pandora
Sirius found himself in front of their library, the very last place that he would go to because he hates books, and at the same time Remus and Regulus favorite place. He hesitated for a second before he finally decided to enter the library. Thank goodness, there are a few students reviewing and the librarian is not at her seat. No questions for him, and no unnecessary reactions that would irritate him.
He loves attention yes, but sometimes he gets sick of it and he just wants Regulus' attention.
Sirius was walking around the library, searching or every nook and cranny in a hope to see Regulus, for a bit, and maybe, just maybe talk to him or if Regulus doesn't want to talk to him, then at least he saw his brother. He misses his brother very much, but he won't admit it. Not if it is not Regulus.
Sirius, with nothing on his mind, and basically day dreaming of how he would approached Regulus when he sees him, didn't realized that he has reached the forbidden corner of their library. A corner containing 'dangerous' books of spells. And if you ask Sirius, he thinks it is dumb.
Who ever came up of an idea of putting this dangerous books in the library, and thinks that a 'DO NOT ENTER' sign could keep students from entering and touching the books, is downward, plainly stupid. I mean, it is a wizarding school, full of stupid, hardheaded, and power hungry students, of course they would touch the books and read it, or even steal it, even if it is dangerous, just to be powerful.
"And you are stupid enough to think that they would put the books here without extra and special precaution."
As what Sirius was talking, they are stupid for putting the books here so that Pandora Rosier, a devil incarnate, can read it.
"What are you doing here? Can't you see the sign? I thought you can read?" Sirius asked Pandora while looking around, to see if Regulus is with her. Because everyone in the castle realized that wherever Regulus is, Pandora is always beside him. As if guarding him against from who knows? as if Regulus can't protect himself from any harm.
"I have this," Pandora showed him her badge, a sign that she can enter the restricted corner anytime she wants. Who in the right mind would even give a Rosier a freedom to read and learn those dangerous spell? Weren't they afraid of creating a monster? "Professor Dumbledore gave me this badge."
"Can you read mind? Is that one of the tricks that you learned from the books here? And did they forgot to put 'it is not nice to read someone's mind without their consent' Or did you intentionally not read it?" He rudely asked.
"No, there is no spell that would let you read someone's mind by just looking at their face, and you would know that if you actually pay attention to your classes. But alas, the Blacks were given brain and beauty but decided to give you one, and Regulus both of them." Pandora answered back.
"Thank you for thinking that I am handsome, but sadly you are not my type."
Pandora gave him a disgusting look, "How bold of you to assume that you are my type. I want my man, smart and handsome, not a kiss and tell type of person. And stop looking around, my fiancee is not here with me."
"I am not looking for him." Sirius denied immediately.
"Him? You always stalk my fiancee yet you can't even say his name? Does it disgust you to say his name Sirius Black?" but before he could answer, "Oh don't bother answering that, in fact don't ever say his name, you don't deserve him."
"I don't stalk Regulus!" And that earned him a glare from Pandora.
"I said don't say his name! And you don't stalk him? What do you call your act of following him this past few weeks? Isn't that stalking?" He couldn't defend himself because they were actually following Regulus around. "You can't even defend yourself. You're stupid and I am such an idiot of wasting my time entertaining you." and with that Pandora decided to leave.
"I don't want you for him." He muttered, just enough for Pandora to hear it, and not cause a scene.
"You don't want me for who?" She asked.
Sirius took a breath first, "I don't want you for my brother." he said confidently.
But to his surprised, Pandora chuckled, "I don't like your brother." she said in a plain voice.
"You don't?" he was shocked, "Then why are you marrying him? Did you agreed to the engagement because of your parents?"
Pandora looked at him as if he has two heads, "I am not engaged to your brother, Sirius, that statement alone disgusts me."
"You're not engage to Regulus?" He was confused, then what was the kissing the two shared that everyone in the castle saw? The announcement that Walburga released to the media and the magazines?
"I am engage to Regulus."
"But you just told me that you are not engaged to my brother!"Is this girl playing with him?
"Oh my! It seems that you forgot something Sirius, Regulus is not your brother." She said, concerned written on her face.
"What are you saying?! Regulus is my brother." Sirius said in a loud voice, he doesn't care about making a scene. How dare her say that Regulus is not his brother?!
"Don't shout at me Sirius!" Pandora said in a stern voice, "And you told us yourself Sirius. Don't you remember? Two years ago? When Regulus was sorted into Slytherin, a week after, you were drunk, and you announced in the Great Hall that James Potter is your chosen brother. That he is your only brother. You said that, in front of my fiancee's face. So forgive me in thinking that everytime you say 'brother' I would immediately think of James Potter."
That made Sirius closed his mouth. He was speechless, yes he said that but he was drunk. He wasn't himself at that time. And he was hurt, and yes, he thinks that James is his brother but so does Regulus.
"What? Cat got your tongue?" And Pandora laughed making his blood boil. "Let's stop our conversation here, I don't want to make you cry. But before I leave, kindly tell Potter to stop following MY Regulus around, its creepy, and he should go back to Evans. Heed my warning Sirius, after all an unregistered animagus will be sent to Azkaban." and after that, Pandora left Sirius in the Library, going to who knows where.
After collecting himself, Sirius went back to their dorm where he found Remus and Peter reading books. "Wormtail, go find James and drag him here." With that, Peter left hurriedly.
While Remus closed his book, "What's happening, Sirius?"
"We will brainstorm. I need my brother back."
