26 - Christmas part 2
TW: Daggers, blood
After searching for an hour we found him in the courtyard of all places. He stood up but Mattheo didn't give him any time, I heard something fly by my ear, I realized it’s the dagger I got him. I look away before it hits the man, I don’t need to see any more blood today.
“It actually works” He said abruptly I look at him “What, it’s the right wight and easy to throw, plus it didn’t miss it’s target”
“Well I’m glad you like it”
“So why did you get it for me again?”
“Because daggers are better than knives and you needed one, as much as I don’t like blood you like throwing knifes and knives are a bit simple at times, I wanted to get something you would like and use that was cool but dangerous like you” I explained
“But I thought that you don’t like harming people or just weapons in general”
“It’s not that, I don’t like blood, sure I could hurt people, but most of the time there's blood and it’s not all that pleasing if the person did nothing to you or people you know”
“I understand” He replied “I will be back in a second” He left and came back a minute later.
“You were gone for more than a second” I commented when he came back. He smiled and hid the dagger in his belt again.
We went back to the common room to check on Thomas but he wasn’t up yet.
I decided to skip the feast and stay in the dorm while Theodore and Mattheo went.
A few minutes later Thomas woke up and looked around the room. He blinked a couple times “What happened?” He asked me. I explained everything that had happened.
Soon Mattheo and Theodore were back and Thomas went down to the common room while I went to sleep.
I woke up while it was still dark out. I looked at the clock, it was 4 in the morning. I couldn’t sleep so I got out of bed and got changed then headed down to the common room. Mattheo was there, he looked up at me from his sketchbook “Can’t fall back asleep?” He asked
“Yeah, something like that” I said quietly
He waved me over “Come sit with me” I walked over to him and he hugged me with one hand and continued drawing with his other. I watched him as he drew.

She watched me while I drew and after thirty minutes I felt her head on my shoulder, she had fallen asleep. I waved my wand and a blanket came and covered her. I continued drawing till it started getting light out and Circe woke up. She blinked a couple of times and saw I was still with her, I smiled “You sleep good?” I asked. She nodded and Thomas came down the stairs, he looked at us for a second.
“If I didn’t know any better you look like boyfriend and girlfriend” He commented. With a wave of her hand two books flew across the room and hit him on the head. “Ow” He said blankly and Circe shrugged.
“Breakfast?” I asked
“Sure” Thomas replied
We headed to the Great Hall and had breakfast, Theodore met us 10 minutes later and ate quickly before we left. Thomas and Theodore went back to the common room and Circe wanted to go on a walk so I went with her.
I girl started walking towards us, I recognized her as a first year Ravenclaw who I saw talking to Circe on the first day of classes. As soon as Circe saw her, her eyes turned crimson and Circe looked away. The girl came up to us “who’s this?” She asked, eyeing me.
“None of your business Cora” Circe replied
“What is wrong with your eyes?” Circe pushed past her and I followed her. Her eyes were still crimson but a second later they turned back to their normal color.
